I'm really proud of my pawn in DD2. I was playing fighter, picking up and chucking goblins with shields or ones that were getting too close to my mage pawn. Then when I swapped to archer and put her on thief, she saw a goblin was menacing me, and rushed over to pick up and chuck it away.

GOTY 2024 Last night, I was doing a quest and I saw a cool looking statue on a hill. I wanted to see what was at the statue, so I trek my way there. It was a golem. I had not faced a golem at this point. It hosed me up. Repeatedly. Occasionally it would bring in a griffin friend that would extra gently caress me. I remember there being a campsite at the bottom of the hill, near a river, so I go to camp. There are saurians on the other side of the river and I decide to clear them out first. One of them knocks my thief pawn into the water - instakilling them. Luckily, there happened to be a sorcerer pawn wandering nearby (though he was worthless for the golem fight). I camp and heal up. I go back up and fight the golem. It's not going well. After a few more attempts, I go back down to camp. In the middle of the night, I'm raided by wolves. Me and my pawns are all at 90% health and it's just night time. I have to sit and wait for 15 minutes for daylight to approach since I only had one camping set. We go up and we finally kill that loving golem though. This took about an hour in total for a couple chests with nothing special in them. It's a good game, friend.
