It's March and we're watching college basketball, so that means it must be (almost) March Madness. I'm posting this a little early so we can get in Championship Week posting as well. Here are some key dates:

On the Men's side, major conference tournaments all start today or tomorrow.
ACC - Starts today, Finals Saturday 3/16, all games in Washington DC
Big East - Starts tomorrow, Finals Saturday 3/16, all games in NYC
Big 12 - Starts today, Finals Saturday 3/16, all games in KC
Big 10 - Starts Wednesday, Finals Sunday 3/17, all games in Minneapolis
PAC-12 (RIP) - Starts Wednesday, Finals Saturday 3/16, all games in Las Vegas
SEC - Starts Wednesday, Finals Sunday 3/17, all games in Nashville

Selection Sunday is 3/17 at 6 PM EST. First four start 3/19, first round starts 3/21. Final Four is 4/6 and 4/8

These teams have already won their conference tournaments and are a lock to get in.
Morehead State Eagles - Ohio Valley
Longwood Lancers - Big South
Drake Bulldogs - Missouri Valley
Stetson Hatters - ASUN
James Madison Dukes - Sun Belt
Samford Bulldogs - Southern

On the Women's side, conference tournaments are almost done. Big 12 is the only major conference left to finish, and they play tonight. The rest have already finished with these winners.
Notre Dame - ACC
UCONN - Big East
Iowa - Big 10
Southern Cal - PAC-12
South Carolina - SEC

Selection Sunday for the Women's side is also Sunday 3/17 and is at 8 PM EST. First Four start on 3/20, First Round starts on 3/22. Final 4 is 4/5 and 4/7.

I'll post brackets once they're announced.

What #1 team won't make it out of the first weekend? Purdue
Which #11 team will make it to the elite 8?
Will anyone be able to stop the ladies of South Carolina?

Mizzou led by as many as 8 in the 2nd half, but it's down to 1 with 6 minutes left. Tigers refusing to defend the arc, which is a problem because that's the only place UGA can shoot.

Missouri, looking for its first SEC win of the year - and first win, period, in 2024 - led 59-52 late in the 2nd half, but collapsed to allow an 8-0 run for Georgia over barely 2 minutes.

Tigers still had a chance to go ahead in the last 20 seconds but blew multiple shots in the paint, then redirected a rebound right to Georgia. They had a pretty clean look at a game-tying 3 and blew that too. Something named Blue Cain has put the nail in the coffin.
