Nothing I’ve found on the internet beats SA. It is capital Q Quality stuff. Obviously, it has no real market, like many things that are actually quite worthwhile. Since it’s not sexy, and takes effort and time to appreciate, people don’t get captured as easily as they are by TikTok,instagram,Facebook,etc etc etc. anytime I run into someone kind of interesting I try to steer them here, it is really a special thing, in this day and age.

There are a lot of old accounts on here, but there are also new(er) users; I think new accounts often go to the subforum for the topic they're interested in. GBS is a care home for "people" with chronic internet poisoning, but not the same kind of internet poisoning as on other message boards. We've become dumb and jaded, but remarkably less evil than some online spaces.
