use a drywall saw to do some perforating and allow the spirits to exhaust, sometimes there's a bit of buildup back there in the "dead space"

ive bought some dog bones at petco and have been burying them in the yard. hopin one of these poor pups spirits come to hang out in my backyard. ive never owned a dog because i dont think i can handle the switch to dogfood but would love a ghost doggie

You want to space your chains at least 4 inches apart to maximize your rattling. If you hang them too close together they can get tangled. It used to be the common advise to grease the links, but you actually want a touch of corrosion to give them a nice creaky overtone.

sure, a layer of them as texture with a nice wave of distortion to the affected plane has quite the effect on any witness, but it's simply not worth the *ahem* endurance involved when there are solutions of much better efficacy

Put a vapor barrier in your dungeon walls, especially if it's below the water line. Sure everyone likes a dank dungeon, but excessive mold growth can cause stone and mortar to crumble over time, which makes a dungeon easier to escape.

Yeah, I've been working on flipping this house but so far all I can do is make the walls stretch vertically or make it so no matter what route you take to escape you end up back in the same room
I think I'm close though, one time I found the guest bathroom toilet empty and the ceiling was wet

What’s the local environment like?
Elaborate mechanical trap systems would require extra safeguards from the corrosive effects of salt water. Maybe toss a couple of dehumidifiers down there just in case (solar powered, of course).

No matter how many times you remove the bits stuck to your butt they'll always be back the next day and an ominous chord will play when you notice, can't recommend enough
