 One winter day after a fresh snowfall about 20 years ago, my uncle wakes up to drive to work. He just had old and worn down summer tires equipped and consequently had a difficult and slow drive. Luckily he arrived at work safe and sound but is considerably late. His supervisor demands an explanation and he opens his mouth to tell her that his tires were bald. Only, in the heat of the moment, he fumbles and tells her "Sorry, my balls are tired."
