the most mockable thing about the turkish language is their excessive amount of loanwords, even for things they clearly had prior native words for. they then spell it in the most aggressively phonetic fonetik way possible so that it looks like a loving ork wrote it

brb I'm gonna go get my hair done at the kuafor

that's mockable?
its not a result of being colonized or under foreign subjugation, or even a natural influence, it's an entirely deliberate and self-inflicted phenomena because they're desperate to suck up to the eurotrash and the amerikkkans

"I love to listen to akustik müzik when I read about astroloji. Gonna go watch the boksor maç, hope they don't have to put to many bandaj on. The ofis is so bürokratik."

o çok şık kültür

also they intentionally made their own historical music tradition go extinct because the nazi's said it was "like jazz"

a silly unserious culture.

why is türkiye such an outlier when it comes to diet?

drinks the most tea, eats the most bread

the tea thing is a psycho nationalism thing

turkey was vulnerable to having their supply of sweet sweet kahve being cut off in the case of war, causing the entire population to enter caffeine withdrawals
teas was unknown to the turkish consumer, but parts of the country were capable of growing it. so ataturk told the turks to drink tea. now they literally drink more tea than any people on earth by a big margin.
