Friends, after another exhausting week I am most pleased to announce The Weekend. https://i.imgur.com/ndr0VRq.mp4 After what felt like the length of two weeks we have finally arrived at another fantastic Friday. Gonna get steaks and beers later but for now it's time to play video games.  Tomorrow looks like an unspecified adventure and Sunday should be D&D. What fun adventures await your weekends?

gotta wait until the wind settles down to put the housewrap on the shed. Then i gotta figure out how to keep the astroturf from blowing around on the roof. gonna try getting some progress on my rss reader project. maybe play a video game? seems likely but no real plans as such.

lol as always otherwise i'm not sure. i've got some ttrpg sunday evening but that's about the only solid commitment. winter had this last hurrah this week, but now the weather should be getting and staying decent for the rest of the month. that's only really gonna get here on sunday and later though, so i won't do stuff outside tomorrow. maybe some video games for part of the day. i have an ongoing game of workers & resources that's going well so maybe i'll keep building socialism for a while. i'll think of something

i think my d&d crew is dead. the one guy, i think is having marital issues. the other guy is avoiding marital issues by paying attention to his s/o (which is the correct thing to do). that leave only three of us so we can't play. im pretty sure this is the normal way for a d&d campaign run by adults ends. i think we will still try to organize the game, but it's been almost two months since we were all able to get together. other than that i think i might go get a new pair of safety boots / shoes. new union contract allows for $200 a year to buy safety boots / shoes.

yojimbo rules. love anything with toshiro mifune putting in 120%. throne of blood is doubly great for that because they had actual trained archers firing legit arrows at the dude for authenticity and he just went "yeah, that's fair"

Having my first proper holiday in 2 years, came to Brussels to see Autechre live (night before last) and for the BRDCST festival. Found a small but cool as hell MTB spot yesterday (Bois des Reves) and heading back there today, and then more BRDCST tonight. Holiday blues are already pre-emptively kicking in and I've got four days left wtf

Yeah it was rad, I’ve never seen them before. Really hope they release the audio from this gig. Just a shame it was all in total darkness, they were behind a set of speakers and basically snuck on and off without really acknowledging the audience. Pair of total anoraks.
