Youtube and TikTok have replaced MTV but there are still music video directors. If anything there are probably more music video directors now than there were before.

I'm a guy that got famous from pointing cameras at a band playing a song. I'm so smart, I put one guy with a mobile camera that started a shot pointed at the drummer. It just seemed to make sense because the drums started just going for it at that point in the song. They should let me be Martin Scorsese's DP and I'll VD the best movie about an Albanian gang that is stealing credit card numbers from customers who buy memberships at their gyms.
