A little while ago I watched another Ryuhei Kitamura movie, Sky High, which is about a cop trying to track down a serial killer, unbeknownst to him with the help of the ghost of one of the victims. Like 20 minutes in I was like, "huh, I guess this is a pretty normal crime thriller with a paranormal twist. I guess there's not going to be a ton of sword fights" and I have never been wronger about anything in my life.

On a related note I rewatched the original Godzilla vs King Kong fight on Youtube recently and I'd forgotten how blatantly they'd pulled King Kong being powered up by lightening out of their asses. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4rGq9kyeM0 5:40 if for some reason you don't want to watch 10 minutes of men in monster suits rolling around.
