 Welcome to Big Brother: Digital Distortion Ran by: kdowns, Haschel Cedricson, Mallowgeno(M.S), and Sting 64 Boring Rules stuff: {GENERAL RULES} {01} This is a game. The main objective is to have fun; so no excessive flaming, spamming, or submission of anything else prohibited within the MS forums. {02} This is a game. The secondary objective is to win. {03} We are not infallible, so if either of us make a mistake, please point it out to us and we will correct it if needed. {04} We have worked extensively to produce a game that is enjoyed by all involved. As such, we promise to offer each player respect but expect to be shown the same in return. {05} Exercise common sense. If you are unsure as to whether an action conflicts with the rules, ask. Yes, this is a competition, but do not attempt to undermine challenges or game mechanics for your own gain. This violates both the spirit of the game and common respect mentioned above. {06} We reserve all rights to implement new rules if needed. {CHALLENGES} {01} We appreciate the fact that prospective contestants will enter this game with a range of skills. With this in mind, understand that we as mods cannot cater to all players' needs and time constraints in challenges. Head of Household: {02} At the beginning of each round, players will compete to become the Head of Household {HoH}. The winner{s} of the Head of Household Challenge will be safe from the threat of eviction that week and cannot be eliminated from Big Brother: Digital Distortion. {03} With security, however, comes responsibility. During the HoH's reign, the Head of Household must fulfill the following duties when instructed: • Name two players as nominees for eviction. • Name a replacement nominee in the event the Power of Veto saves one player from the chopping block. See below for more information about the Power of Veto. • Cast the deciding vote in the event of a tie. {04} The outcomes of all Head of Household Challenges are final. That said, be sure to keep Rule 03 of General Rules in mind. Power of Veto: {05} Following the Nomination Ceremony each week, six players will compete to temporarily wield the Power of Veto: the Head of Household, the two nominees, and three players selected via random draw. {06} The wielder of the Power of Veto may choose to veto one of HoH's initial nominations, including the wielder. The PoV may also choose not to use the Power of Veto. {07} The wielder of the Power of Veto cannot become a replacement nominee, and is thus safe for the week. {08} The outcomes of all Power of Veto Challenges are final. That said, be sure to keep Rule 03 of General Rules in mind. Eviction Ceremony: {01} Eviction Ceremonies will take place of Thursday Night. Neither the HoH nor the two nominees may cast votes. {02} If a player fails to submit a vote within the given time frame, that player will incur an activity penalty. Should a player receive three penalties, that player will be ejected from the game. In the event that a player knows they will be unable to vote by deadline, that player may notify the moderators and cast a conditional vote to avoid penalization. {03} You will be notified when it is time for you to place your vote. {04} The results of Eviction Ceremonies will be revealed live. {05} The outcomes of Eviction Ceremonies are final. {06} In the event of a tie, the Head of Household will cast the deciding vote. Twists: {01} Twists will be implemented without warning or provocation throughout the game. The time and setting of each twist has already been determined, so as to neither give an unfair advantage or disadvantage to a player or group of players. Timeline of the Week {01} The Head of Household will take place on Mondays {02} The Nomination Ceremony/Veto Challenge will be held on Tuesday {03} Veto Ceremony will take place on Wednesday {04} Eviction Ceremony will take place on Thursday Veto Challenges will be Live while most of the Head of Household competitions will let you have the chance to complete in your own time during the weekend. Though there will be some Head of Household competitions that will take place live, and you will be given a warning when that will be. Mucche, you don't have to worry about mechanics about the other house. All that matters is that we talk constantly about how much better and cooler the SA house is than the dweeby mafiascum house. They probably don't even have throw pillows smh
