A GLISTENING HODOR posted:59 hours and 42 minutes until Robb, Catelyn, and half the Stark army eats poo poo on TV. Buffy already did that as a cliffhanger in the episode "Sleeper", with Giles as Arya and a Harbinger of Death (a type of demonic villain on that show) as The Hound. (Couldn't find a GIF or YouTube clip of the scene, but you get the idea.)

A GLISTENING HODOR posted:59 hours and 42 minutes until Robb, Catelyn, and half the Stark army eats poo poo on TV. I've done my due diligence around show-only friends and they are all of the opinion that something is going to go the Stark's way because they've been eating poo poo sandwiches for so long something needs to happen to get them back in the game.

I've been worried that all the cannon fodder GURM wrote in being missing would soften the blow, but man some people really really love Robb. If episode 10 opens with Robbwind I will lose my poo poo.

I'm kinda wondering what they're planning to do with Talisa, Robb's wife on the show, because she said she was pregnant a couple eps ago. Since a big thing in the books is Robb not having an heir, something has to happen with that. The way I see it, there's a couple of choices: 1. She was just lying for some reason 2. She is pregnant and all the book theories about the Jeyne that Jaime sees in AFFC not being the real Jeyne is true, and Robb secretly has an heir. 3. She is pregnant, but she is going to die before she can give birth If the show had the balls to kill Robb's wife and his unborn child at the Red Wedding, just to twist the knife further, I would love it forever. I might just be dumb and completely overthinking it though.

She can get Dacey Mormont's axe to the tummy BTW, GRRM himself has stated that the differing description of Jeyne in AFFC was just because he forgot the details of what she looked like.

So, I bet a buddy $5 that they will include "Don't cut my hair, Ned loves my hair". He is convinced that the line is no where near as popular with the general fandom as it is with us. I think it's a seminal moment, and may even be the end of the episode.

I have no idea how they are going to pull of Catelyn's utter break from reality without it looking melodramatic. Without her thoughts, Catelyn clawing her face and laughing like a lunatic might not have the impact its supposed to.

I bet that they do have the "Ned loves my hair" line, but I think Sandor fake killing Arya will be the episode end. I also predict that they'll reveal that Arya's not dead in episode 10, but it's too good a troll not to include at the end of this ep.

Oberyn's gonna flirt with Cersei and then lay a sick burn about not being her brother when she rejects him, and then he'll skateboard into Tywin's office and kick his feet up on his desk (they'll include a blink and you'll miss it shot of him slipping poison into Tywin's cup). They're basically going to make his death as crushing as Ned's and the Red Wedding, if not moreso. Trigger warning please

Gentlegoons, do we have a strategy in place this weekend leading up to Sunday night to hardcore troll show viewers? Not with outright spoilers, but with just a building, teasing, stroking sort of trolling that just coaxes everything up and then finally out in a huge, edifying, oozing rush?

Seems like we're banking on them psyching themselves up since episode 9 is always the "poo poo goes down" episode, and staying out of the way lest we tip them off to Robb and Catelyn and everyone aligned with the Starks dying.
