argentina's financial problems would be funny (like foreign entities trying to repo their loving navy's ships for debts they blew off in 2002 or something) except it ruins poo poo for innocent people

Literature is not exhaustible, for the sufficient and simple reason that no single book is. A book is not an isolated being: it is a relationship, an axis of innumerable relationships.
i was reading this article about how the heritage foundation is getting destroyed from within by a 31-year-old tea party idiot (good riddance) and it kept reminding me of something, and this thread just made me realize what it was

quote:

And yet Needham’s blithe remark came as no surprise to the former veteran staffer at the Heritage Foundation. “One of the hallmarks of that millennial profile is an inability to acknowledge mistakes,” the staffer said, sounding equal parts bemused and exasperated. “Everything is right and nothing was a mistake, and they can spin it any way they want.”

USPS, how about letting me write a transaction hash, instead of buying a stamp (self.Bitcoin)

submitted 9 minutes ago by cqm

I heard USPS was considering bitcoin related services. I never have stamps when I need them, I also do not own a printer.

Because I rarely print and I rarely snail mail.

USPS could generate bitcoin addresses for people wanting to mail things, and accept payment for stamps. The sender could send the right amount to that address and write the transaction hash (or the address) on the envelope, as an option.

If the address or transaction hash does not validate or is not the correct amount at time for the cost of a stamp (at the previous time), or is not legible, it will be returned to sender.

That would be very convenient for me.

The only thing white people deserve is a bullet to their empty skull
so, public transaction record plus lovely scripting language plus wasteful hashing equals a complete replacement for laws, police, firefighters, public utilities, etc

literally libertarianism, but with bitcoin!
