Also fun to see Toshiyuki being the chaser and not the chased for this game, so it looks like a fun arc! You say that but thats more or less how To Love Ru and Yuna got published. Albeit well after the fact, with a cut going to seven seas, and with them both having been pirated to hell and back. Yeah, the apps allow for omission on a per series, chapter and OS basis (HiDive does it too. For example No Game, No Life isn't available on apple devices) but this seems to be on a higher level as it was skipped entirely.

I looked up the Ayakashi chapter and....it's not nearly as bad as I was expecting really. Considering what had come before it. I expected the kid to be naked and having something quite more suggestive. Why are you even publishing this?! Anyway. I read the last few chapters of Doron Dororon, and I like that they're doing something very different with the female co-lead than in most other similar manga (and there are certainly a lot of manga with uncannily similar premises). Usually a character like that would be someone who is reluctantly forced to work with the protagonist by some higher-up or higher-ups who are interested in the protagonist in some capacity.

Posting here because I didn't see a thread for it, but I started watching Tokyo revengers. I'm working through episode 4 and wondered what opinions on the show were? I'm really down with the premise but so far I'm kind of picking apart the time travel shenanigans (or at least hoping it all gets explained further on) and feeling half invested in the characters.

the anime seems like an incredibly bad way to experience it imo. lots of sloppy censorship due to the manji symbol and there's just a sort of texture to Wakui's art that nothing i've seen of the anime captures. i read like 12 volumes of it before the anime happened and enjoyed it, between the ensemble cast plots and mystery of the Butterfly Effect-y time travel stuff. most criticisms for both versions seem to focus on the MC's immaturity and stagnation, which i think are apt even though i found plenty to enjoy in the rest of the series that it didn't bother me much.

I am surprised that SJ refused to publish chapter 74 of Ayakashi Triangle. They kept the chapters where Matsuri's mother turned up and to be honest those made me feel physically sick and I only picked it back up when I'd forgotten why I stopped reading it. To be clear I wish the series had foregone both, but the choice seems inconsistent to me. The series has one of my favourite tropes - something huge and powerful turned into an adorable sidekick, much like in Dandadan - with the added bonus of the flabby cat taking it upon him self to tamper down teenage hormones. The series has a lot of good stuff that would let it succeed, and wouldnt need to get rid of all the horny stuff. Parts of it make me reminisce on being a dweeb teenager frazzled by other girls' boobs and I laugh, but then theres a chapter where a mother shoves their hand in their childs underwear and it's... ugh. I want more tiny cat crying because he is a former pseudo-deity now reduced to exhausting himself manipulating a planchette to embarass some annoying teenagers, less horny naked moms making their children soap them up. The times in Dandadan I had a viscerally unpleasant response were purely action related, and not because I felt like the manga was going "this good for you too?". Edit: thank you for reporting the monster house building manga. The art style is fantastic, theres such an amazing sense of depth and perspective to every panel. The bit pieces manage to be detailed without being busy, the action is dynamic without getting confusing. I really want a little model of the lead dwarf eyeing up his work.
