the spotify application in general on any platform is really terrible. they also invented their own markup language for the ui elements so you get the same lovely experience cross-platform

what it reminds me of is mozilla circa 2004, with the ui defined in XUL. the widgets and everything are incredibly close to the netscape ui kit
