Post Mission Debrief and Payouts

Good Morning Pilots,

We will start this debrief by saying there will be no court martial, the shareholders have reviewed the HUD tapes and concluded there was no intentional wrong doing from the pilot of the J-11A.

Disney is extremely happy with us, so much so that they gave us an additional bonus and are looking forwards to hiring us again.

The locals however aren't as happy while we did stop their attack and push Nestle's plans back, we have negotiated with the locals and will be going for round two with Nestle.

Each pilot has earned 2.4 million dollars from this mission

Bonuses

F-15C pilot Herp will be getting a 1.5 million dollar bonus for dancing with SA-19 missiles that were shot at them, causing all of them to miss while the Pilot had no awareness they were even being fired at them.

Gazelle pilot Muhlump\mlmp08 will be getting a 2 million dollar bonus for his ninja like reflexes dodging ATGMs as well as his incredibly sneaky pickup of the VIP, the enemy didn't even notice the VIP was gone for another two days. The VIP is also wanting to give the pilot an Extra $500k for the airshow that was put on during landing.

Hind Pilot Darkoff will be getting a $500k bonus for figuring out a way to have R-60's become ATGM's by having them lock onto an AT-9 and chase it into the side of a tank.

Hind Pilot Arbitraty will be betting a $500k bonus for killing some Flak 88's

A-10 Pilot Malakesh is getting a 1 million dollar bonus for destroying a Roland Shorad system with mavericks during the terrible snow and fog.

A-10 Pilot FatKao is also getting a 1 million dollar bonus for destroying Nestle Artillery before it could level one of the local towns.

F-16 Pilot DeadSeed has earned 5 million dollar bonus for taking out the NASAMs so quickly as well as taking out both Nestle's and WB's Early Warning Radars with the one killing WB's radar being a 50 Mile Shot

F-16 Pilot BurntCornMuffin has earned a 2 million dollar bonus for taking out all the Search and Tracking radars the enemy had

Both F-18 Pilots will each get a $500k bonus for destruction of the target with no collateral damage.

F-18 Pilot Prime will be getting an addition 1 million dollar bonus for killing a AAA site with the same bomb that killed the WB Tech HQ as well as killing a Mig-25.

J-11 Pilot Prawned will be getting a 2 million dollar bonus for taking out the Warner Bros AWACS callsigned as RedEye.

J-11 Pilot Mad Dawg will be getting a 1 million dollar bonus for killing most of the bombers.

J-17 Pilot Xeno will be getting a $500k bonus for damaging a P-47 and taking out NASAMs launchers.

F-14 pilot ARAGORN will be getting a $500k bonus for taking out enemy bombers.

All mosquito pilots will be getting a $500k bonus for their hard work and killing the bottling facility

In future missions there will be penalties for blue on blue and attacking things we were not contracted to attack

After Action Report - CAP Ghost and Stingray

Our job was to protect the strike flights from fighters and protect the base from bombers. We succeeded. No friendlies were lost to enemy air threats and the CAP skylounge at the base remains intact and functional. We shot down 15 enemy aircraft for an estimated total of over a billion dollars in damage with ordnance no newer than 1982. Two of our pilots became aces, one became an ace in a single sortie. First the Balance Sheet:

LOSSES with (Estimated Value per unit)
3 J-11A airframes-one recoverable ($30m per)
1 F-14A airframe ($38m).

TARGETS DESTROYED with (Estimated Value per unit)
Stingray 1-1 | F-14A destroyed a MiG-25PD ($40m) and an F-4E ($16.3m).
Overall Flight kills: 2, losses: 1-due to Friendly Fire

Overall Flight Damage: $56.3 million

Ghost 1-1 | J-11A destroyed 2x BF-109 K-4's ($1m per), 4x Tu-22M3's ($215m per), and an F-4E ($16.3m).
Ghost 1-2 | J-11A destroyed a MiG-19P ($6m), a BF-109 K-4 ($1m), a P-47D ($1m), 2x F-4E's ($16.3m per) and the enemy AWACS ($176m).
Overall Flight kills: 13, losses: 3

Overall Flight Damage: $980.6 million (including the Blue F-14A replacement)

Combined Flights Overall Damage less Costs: $1.0369 billion

ABSTRACT
The weather was an impediment to our CAP. There were three thick layers of clouds with rain and fog at the lowest altitude. When we ended up in dogfights, we were largely dependent on the radar to identify and track targets. A blue-on-blue incident occurred early in the mission when Stingray 1-1 was being targeted by a MiG-25PD from below and Ghost 1-1 fired a heat-seeking missile into the dogfight. It tracked and destroyed the Stingray F-14A. Abstract will continue below.

COURT MARTIAL
Ghost 1-1 presented a defense at the subsequent court-martial proceeding that amounted to three points: Stingray was under threat of immediate destruction, the low visibility prevented visual IFF and the bandit was very close to Stingray's F-14. The corporate court, being sponsored by pornhubcoin, also took under advisory the J-11A's jungle camouflage livery.

ABSTRACT, CONTINUED:
Stingray was a single ship, so our plan was to fly as a joint CAP flight, over the water. We followed the SEAD flight into the AO, providing top cover.

Engagement #1 - Warbirds and Coldwar MiGs
We were engaged by multiple bogies at different altitudes almost immediately. We were vectored to Gudauta towards multiple low-flying, slow bogeys that ended up being warbird-era fighters. After the combined flights splashed six of them Stingray 1-1 was downed in the incident above and Ghost 1-1 ate a NASAM at low altitude in pursuit of a warbird.

Engagement #2 - Bombers and their Escorts
After regrouping, we noticed several contacts on the radar with a large radar cross-section about 75nm away over the water that we assumed to be bombers. We tasked Stingray 1-1 with their intercept but there were concerns that the four AIM-54 Phoenix missiles Stingray had fired were not tracking and indeed none of them connected. Both of the Ghost ships turned to support the F-14A. We initially saw two radar blips that multiplied as we closed the distance into two sets of FOUR radar contacts each. Ghost 1-1 focused on closing with the lead group which ended up being Tu-22 bombers and Ghost 1-2 went for the rear group which was their F-4 phantom escorts. Stingray was able to catch one of the F-4's with a sidewinder on the way in but had to bug out. Ghost 1-2 splashed another one but ended up with a bandit on his tail that he wasn't able to shake and ate a sidewinder. After a massive furball, all of the bombers and escorts were defeated, except one. Ghost 1-2 relaunched to finish off the surviving F-4 bomber escort and then followed a radar track deep in enemy territory all the way to the red AWACS. Ghost 1-1 was not able to make it back but landed the J-11A on a sandbar close to shore in a water landing.

Stingray 1-1 maintained the CAP coverage for the rest of the mission, but there were no further air threats.

WHERE TO IMPROVE
Intra-Flight comms - raygun callouts should be made including the target's altitude, to help deconflict with potential friendlies who are in or near the mix.
Separation - we got too far separated on the bomber intercept to support each other.
Transition from BVR to WVR - we lost track of each other during dogfights and were unable to quickly regain situational awareness.

ACMI OF THE BOMBER/ESCORT INTERCEPT:
https://vimeo.com/721834521

I wasn't shot down, I went for a little dip in the ocean because I was so hot and sweaty from downing seven bogeys in one go. The J-11A can float, it's a little known addition made by the Chinese engineers in order to offset their lack of carriers.

The fact that that it was impossible to see anything in the fog and I might have got disorientated trying to shake an F-4 is neither here nor there.

Court Martial Proceedings

If it pleases the court, following the conclusion of an independent investigation, the Mouse-appointed trial counsel asks to move forward with the general court martial of G W "MadDog" K (Ghost 1-1) for negligent homicide and dereliction of duty.

These offenses arise from a friendly fire incident on June 18, 2028. Counsel seeks to prove that, in his actions on that day, the accused performed a negligent act with the absence of due care for the safety of others, exhibiting a lack of care that a reasonably careful person would have exercised under the same or similar circumstances.

The accused had a duty to perform an Identification, Friend or Foe (IFF) interrogation before firing upon an unknown target, and willfully neglected to perform this action without reasonable excuse, resulting in the death of friendly forces and the loss of an aircraft.

Exhibit A: SUV-27 Fire Control System
A trained pilot in command of a Sukhoi Su-27 variant, including the Shenyang J-11A license-built version which the accused was piloting during the incident, will perform an IFF interrogation before prosecuting a target. Performing this action does not alert the target to the presence of another aircraft, and requires only a fraction of a second to complete. The process is accomplished with the SUV-27 Fire Control System in the following manner:

Using the J11's OEPS-27 electro-optical sighting system, or infrared search and track (IRST), system, the pilot will acquire a target. Once the target has been locked, the pilot issues a command to illuminate the target with the "radar on" command. While locked on a target in EO mode, this command does not result in radar lock, but instead performs an IFF interrogation, returning symbology to indicate whether the locked EO target is a friend "AFR" or foe "A" on the HUD.

Fig. 1: A friendly target locked in EO mode and interrogated, returning "AFR" on the left side of the HUD.

Fig. 2: An enemy target locked in EO mode and interrogated, returning "A" on the left side of the HUD.

A pilot claiming the title of "Ace" can reasonably be expected to understand the capabilities of their aircraft to this basic degree, as well as the need to follow established protocols when engaging a target. In light of this failure, it is apparent that the accused willfully neglected to perform their duty, and in failing to do so, caused the destruction of friendly forces.

Counsel asks that the court find the accused guilty of negligent homicide and dereliction of duty and recommends the following punishment for these offenses:
  • Forfeiture of all pay and allowances for actions committed on June 18, 2028
  • Forfeiture of all future pay and allowances until the Corporation is made whole for losses incurred as a result of the accused's actions, totaling $98 million (2xJ-11A and 1xF-14A)
  • Restriction of "guns only" loadout on all aircraft for a period of no less than one mission to avoid further losses to Corporation friendly forces

I move to dismiss the prosecution because the prosecutor has a stupid newbie avatar and is a 2000 reg, and thus has no locus standi.

We may not fear the reaper, but we do fear Vietnam War era ADS.

Losses
2x A10CII Airframes

Kills
M2 Bradley- 2
Roland - 1
S-60 - 2
Gepard - 1
M-109 - 4

Other Damage
damage S-60 - 1
damage M-109 - 1

Summary
Weather was challenging in the target area with a dense fog preventing the flight from easily visually finding ADS targets. Two aircraft strayed too close to the short range air defenses and were lost. Targets were largely slowly picked off from standoff range.

Improvements
Stay out of the range of things that can shoot back at us. 57mm flak hurts when it lands. Staying high and dropping bombs would have allowed us to do far more damage to armor targets once the Rolands were destroyed.

SEAD was authorized to deploy cluster munitions in their role. We should have called that in to abuse our ROE allowances.

Good afternoon everyone.

The upcoming operation hereby called Operation Black Beard, will be a tough one. We are finishing out our contract against Nestle, intelligence has informed us that nestle is gathering what remains of their military and mercenaries at Krymsk and Krymsk airbase, rumor has it the CEO and the top two military leaders are there and will be boarding some helos there to oversee their upcoming operation. our job is to take them out if we can. I have heard rumors of a very large bonus for the pilot or pilot\gunner whom takes out the CEO and VIPs.

our other mission objective is to destroy Nestle's navy at Novorossiysk. we can do this in two different ways we can sink every ship at the harbor including those docked, or we can steal three of the docked. through our informants in the city we have learned that three of the ships will be empty this weekend as their sailors are going on shore leave, if we land some of our own sailors near the port we will be able to steal the ships for ourselves and use them to take out the nestle navy.

This is our Area of Operations

Air Threats
Nestle has upped their airforce technology wise, gone are all their WW2 prop planes. We have confirmed a bulk of their forces are MiG-19's, MiG-27's, A-4's, and L-39's. we have unconfirmed reports that they have hired a small merc unit called Kronus they are known for flying F-16 Block 50's

Ground Threats
we have pictures of at least 2 SA-15 Tor units at Krymsk and possible more in our AO

we also have reports of at least 10 Pivads near Krymsk and a few ZSU-57-2 at the port

Packages
F/A-18's will be doing Anti-Ship Strikes
A-10's, F-16's, Mosquitos and A-4C's will be doing ground attacks with the Su-25's helping with anti ship if requested

JF-17's will be doing SEAD and then switching to ground strike

F-15C's, J-11's and F-14's will be doing cap

Helos will be split hinds and KA-50's will fly to the port to take it over (if we want to attempt this)

the apaches will assist at Krymsk

Weather
Forecast is clear skies and a balmy 14C

NFT's Sold to Fund Corporate Wars

Corporate analysts expect the NFT market to swallow up live conflicts and enhance profitability.

Nestle has issued financial guidance on the partnership with a variety of NFT creators in regards to the current corporate operations in the Black Sea area. Not to be outdone, the NFT division of Disney has issued a strong rebuke with a re-release of nose art NFT's from the 2026 Dakar AirStrikes funded by the Pixar division.

Corporate artists have latched onto this phenomenon to both boost interest in the airframes, pilots, and organizations while also deflecting from the fact that this is funding a war that is creating issues for the local governments. In it's "Annual Strategic Summary Holistic Opening Liminal Exit" report, the NFT group PLANEBOIZ, describes the market as "limitless".

George Pepperdine of PLANEBOIZ had this to say, "So humanity been fighting forever, and now we can have opportunity to NFT this space in a totally unique way. There's no competition in this field, so our NFT's will, like, blister the sun with value. If Napoleon, or Eisenhower, or Patton could do it, they'd buy the gently caress out of NFT's right?"

When asked about the previous NFT craze, and crash, of 2022, George explained how this was different over 97 powerpoint slides, 17 Reddit links, and a YouTube video from "CryptoBoiSteve". Our independent analysts have assured us that all of this is bullshit.

But what is not bullshit, is the fact that the initial NFT release of PLANEBOIZ has already raised $27 million dollars with aircraft from Disney, Warner, Tes(z)la, Meta, as well as smaller groups such as the Aberdeen Air Wing, 420th Blazers, and Karl Jr's Stunt Team and AirStrikes LLC. The bigger question is the real value on the open market for these NFT's, as the exchange is sale locked until the complete sets are released. So whether or not it's acutally worth $27 million has yet to be revealed.

Porkchop flight briefing

We're going to be trying to hurt Nestle's ground forces again. We will depart Krasnodar when things are looking calm and loiter over the lake to the southwest until it's time to head west to Krymsk. Krymsk airbase is reportedly only being used for rotor operations so we do not expect fixed wing attacks to originate from it. Once over the area where Nestle is operating we'll attack counter-clockwise, rolling in from the east then turning left and heading south to recycle back for another run. We will be joined by Antares flight so things could get crowded. Don't fly into each other and don't shoot any SU-25s.

We've been told that we only have the materials to refit once, so make sure you drop all your ordinance before running out of fuel.

If we are needed at the port we will head down. This is not expected though. Depending on timing we may refit before heading in that direction to bring heavier bombs to deal with ships.

Threats

The biggest threat to us is enemy SAMs and enemy air power. For the later we listen to AWACS and get somewhere safe. The former should be destroyed by SEAD before we're in the AO.

Other threats are the Pivads.

Other threats may exist, so keep your eyes open for MANPADS or other AAA.

Targets

1. All helicopters in the target area. It's reported that the Nestle CEO and some VIPs will be traveling by helicopter. Shooting those down can land a fat bonus. No friendly helicopters should be operating near Kyrmsk.
2. AAA assets in the target area. Clearing out the M163s will free us up to get closer with rockets and guns
3. Anything else that looks well hydrated.

Loadout

Don't bring 2,000lb bombs or large warhead Mavs unless asked. Anything else is fair game.

Required armament is a pair of AIM-9Ms and ECM.

I'll be bringing:

2x AIM-9m
1x LITENING
42x APWKS
6x GBU-12
2x CBU-105

Laser codes should be:
FatKao - 1111
Malakesh - 1112

Golem Flight

Tasking: Anti-Ship Strike
• My spam folder must have eaten the email from the mission commander, so I’ve been at the print shop all night for this one.
• We’re fishing for Nestle frigates. Intel suggests three ships are coming into and around the harbor. One should already be in Novorossysk and it has two friends inbound.

Loadout
• 2x Harpoon, 2x Maverick-F
• ATFLIR for target ID
• One bag
• 2x AIM-9, 1xAMRAAM for self defense
• Feel free to swap the Mavs for more Harpoons

Mission

• Meet up WP1. Orbit between WP2 to WP3 while SEAD and CAP clear the AO. Climb to cruise altitude and recon the harbor with ground radar and FLIR.
• Move towards WP4 and launch stand-of attack against the loitering Nestle ship. This will relieve some pressure on the ground capture team.
• Rearm if necessary. If the ground team fails to capture the docked ships, we’ll need to come back swinging.

Antares Flight

Alright Antares, Nestle's ground forces are regrouping near Krymsk and we're going to put a stop to that. We'll be operating in conjunction with the A-10s in Porkchop flight on this one. Play nice and if for some reason you're shooting at a fixed wing target and not running away, get a positive ID either visually or by calling it in to ABM.

Our primary task is twofold:
  • Destroy Nestle-aligned ground forces
  • Shoot down any Nestle-aligned helicopters

Our first priority is air defense units. SEAD will have swept through before us and hopefully eliminated any radar SAMS operating in the AO, but keep an eye out. The PIVADS and anything else they've got are up to us and Porkchop. Taking those out will make dismantling the rest of the enemy force a lot less dicey. There should be no friendly rotary wing assets in the vicinity of Krymsk and there's a fat bonus waiting if we nail some Nestle VIPs who might be in one of them, so blast 'em.

Our secondary task is potential anti-ship cleanup duty if something goes very wrong for Golem flight. They'll be out ahead of us so we should have some warning as to whether we're needed for this. Keep an eye on your Vikhr stores, we may need a few of them in the event we have to divert.

For our loadout:
  • 2 fuel tanks
  • 2 Vikhr racks
  • 2 R-73s
  • Your preference of R-60Ms or ECM pods. I'll be taking taking the missiles.

For the mission, I will start by referring you to the map kindly provided by Porkchop's flight lead:

FatCow posted:

Porkchop flight briefing

We will depart from Krasnodar and rendezvous at the large lake approximately 15 nautical miles southwest of the airfield. From there we will follow Porkchop west to Krymsk and begin air-to-ground operations. We'll ingress from the East, engage targets, egress to the South, and circle back around. We'll try to maintain some separation from Porkchop to avoid any collisions, but keep an eye out. If we hear anything about inbound enemy fixed wing assets we are going to be heading back east to regroup near friendly SAMs and hopefully CAP.

Keep your heads on a swivel, don't get greedy on your attack runs and try to force bad shots, and try not to fly into... well, anything. I expect you all to be back for our retrospective and 360 review session.
