Movie Posters - Wherein we argue about Lady Gaga Aussie poster for Holy Motors. Quite a lovely one, actually. I assume the same design will be crossing the ditch.

Wouldn't that read "YLOH SROTOM" from the perspective it is mounted on that building?

What was that science fiction short story about the kid who asks questions and his parents answer incorrectly for fear that his intelligence will be discovered and he'll be carted off by the dystopian government? Yeah.

Women that live in giant vats of vinegar and can detach their heads (with entrails attached) to fly around and suck the fetuses out pregnant women. The mythology in the Phillipines is totally bonkers and overlooked.

I like how on the second poster no one expresses fear just confusion as to what the gently caress that is.

I think the Penanggalan has the coolest way to defeat it. Find the body while the head and entrails are out being creepy and poo poo, then fill the cavity with broken glass. When she comes back and tries to go back in her body, she'll destroy her organs on the glass.

This Robocop poster is actually pretty well done, I have to say. This teaser poster for the reboot, however...

I think that teaser poster is fine. It's nothing special, but the movie hasn't even started shooting yet and is a year off, so it's not like they have a ton to work with at this point. Plus, I like the Omnicorp motto on the side.

Pretty much this. It's not offensive, but it's not super interesting either. At least they used the same typeface as the original, and as TheJoker138 said, the OCP motto.

The problem with the teaser poster is it's stupid lazy faux-metal thrown together from a poorly-constructed Photoshop tutorial. It's poo poo quality that takes all of 15 minutes in Photoshop.

bobkatt013 posted:All those Mitt Romney cartoons? According to the man himself, Larson had an idea of a dog, having finally caught a car, howling in triumph atop it's flipped corpse. Next, in an attempt to be a proper cartoonist, he researched what the underside of a car looks like and drew in a gear-box, bulging out underneath the dog. Then it was published, and he found out he drew a dog loving a car.
