Yo, dog.
You dead, dog.
This podcast is so good. It's like The Complete Guide to Everything but the hosts like each other. I've listened to episode 300 and up.

I'm also in Indy whoa.

Where does Oof Yeah Dude rank, listenership-wise, as compared to the big podcast you're always hearing about like the Nerdiest or that Tom Podkast guy?

I don't know but I've definitely told people I know about the podcast. I'm not sure how many of them actually started listening to it though.

I'm too busy these days to spontaneously drive to Indy but if you post something in Goon Meets/LAN then I can try to work it into my schedule.

Yeah, like I said, most people just don't watch or listen to recommendations. I'm totally guilty of that as well unless it's someone whose opinion I really value or I was already thinking about checking out the thing they're telling me about. The best thing to do is just play it for them on a car trip or something like that so they're forced to listen to it.

I know the feeling; I am constantly recommending it to friends but I don't think any of them have actually listened to it yet, which is a shame. I have started picking up on Seth's idioms and using it in everyday speech, and to someone who doesn't understand the reference it must sound like I never left the 90s. 'Wicked' is one of my new favourite words. I'm also growing fond of phrases like "Hey, are you OK".

I posted the Craigshouse videos on a friend's Facebook because we were having a discussion about weird casual encounters ads and I think he watched all of the youtube videos at least.

I wasn't convinced when people were saying that the early episodes hold up fine, despite being over half a decade old. They're still amazingly relevant. I'm up to the ones where Seth is obsessed with To Catch A Predator. The guy is hilarious.

It's really weird how little you actually know about the guy, despite listening to him talk for hours & hours. He's deliberately misinforming the listener what seems like half the time.

I've doubted that he doesn't actually at least drink, especially during Marcia's most recent episode(I think) when she offered him some wine.

There's a few things we know about Seth after 6 years, sobriety's gotta be one of them.

-Sobriety.
-The 'Dance
-Former actor
-Cowboys

It still took me like 200 episodes to realize Seths dad was still alive.

I have a confession to make, and I'm curious if anyone else shares this problem...

I was introduced to UYD through the youtube videos they put up. I knew their names were Seth and Jonathan, but but they never address each other. And I apparently mixed the two up. Even now, when I know correctly, it's easy to get mixed up.

To me, Seth really looks like a Jonathan, and Jonathan really looks like a Seth.

My name is Johnathan and this is Seth hello Seth... It's been too long since I started listening to remember if I ever thought Johnathan looked like a Seth and vice versa... Their names are inseparable from their faces to me.

I don't think they do the intro in the youtube clips. So if that's what you were exposed to first, I guess I could see getting them mixed up.

The first time I saw a video was when I went back to watch the #100 video episode, and they did not look anything like how I expected. It still took me a while after that to be able to put the right voice to the right face.

But then I'm bad enough with disembodied voices that it wasn't until I was listening to my second episode I realised it was just two of them. I somehow made it through to the end of an entire episode thinking there was a third person joshing along with them.

Yeah after six years of sticking to the story I'm pretty convinced that he is, it just seemed weird that his mom would offer him wine knowing how long he's been sober.

Wow, he isn't dead? Everytime he has mentioned something about his dad he words it like he's dead. What is for sure is that Seth really is genuinely eccentric.

Seth is literally the most interesting person on the internet.

I knew it when he was telling the story of the crazy girl at the salad bar and just casually mentioned he doesn't speak there- I sensed he was even a little embarrassed that he just outted that about himself on the podcast in the moment. Then when he never expanded on it I was instantly in love with the guy.

Also, for a while I envisioned him as looking like a much younger Steve Buscemi.

Pretty sure his dad got remarried to a younger woman, that's why his little brother is so young (11/12?)

As far as the Seth/Jonathan mixup, only one looks like a Larroquette to me...
