OBAMA BIN LAUGHIN posted:ask them what version control they use in all seriousness, i'm unsure of the whole thing to be honest. it's an asp.net position and i had to go through a recruiter for this whole thing. the guy is mostly useless, but he got me a phone screen with someone from the company, which i guess went fine because they want me to come in. i was about as honest as i could be without talking myself down and said that i'd be learning on the job, but that's 99% of dev positions anyway, so they shouldn't mind. if they're not ok with it then they shouldn't list the job as entry/jr level. i do want to try and get in touch with someone and clarify that they're not looking for more than what was posted, but the recruiter "doesn't have" the emails of the guys i'll be interviewing with. can't find anything through a search other than a generic company email, so i may just have to call over there if i get a chance. i just want to get out of cj/other bullshit hell p.s., i'm really sick of the term "hit the ground running" cause it's the most over-loving-used phrase. post your most clichéd IT job phrases here

It's weird how all English speaking companies have the same lovely manager jargon. Do mba classes just consist of rote learning of the phrases?
