Guinness posted:Search harder. All the other things reported seem to be from this 30th Oct 2012 presentation. My intepretation is that it does not state that Lancia will be killed altogether, although it does not promise a rosy future for the brand either: - "Lancia–Chrysler integration hindered by market condition and limited brand appeal outside Italy" - "Reduce/curtail Lancia exposure, preserving uniqueness of Ypsilon and rely on Chrysler’s NAFTA development to feed European brand, if economically viable" - There is a new Lancia model to be released in 2015. So, my take is that the decision to completely kill Lancia hasn't yet been made, but sales of Lancia are low enough that it development of separate models is not viable. There will stilll be few Lancias for sale, but these will be rebadged Chryslers. Of course, it is quite possible in couple of years time the brand will disappear. Lancia is being put down softly. I don't see where the autoblogs conclusion that the Panda will be rebadged as a Jeep comes from either, considering the statement "Focus Fiat brand on 500 and Panda as pillar vehicles (brands within a brand)" in the presentation.

My intepretation is that it does not state that Lancia will be killed altogether, although it does not promise a rosy future for the brand either: The news that Lancia is dead came from a Marchionne conference call today. There are some choice quotes, like: “We must rid ourselves of the illusion that we can build [a]new Lancia.” There are mixed quotes about the future of the company from various spokes persons, but Lancia is realistically dead. Whether it takes 6 months or 3 years, its obvious from Marchionne's quotes that they have no plans for the brand moving forward.

Unfortunately the photo quality is a bit poo poo, but... 1UZ, swapped into a 1984 Chevy C10 pickup, and apparently going to have a T-56 backing it up. Thread and more pics here but it's sparse as all hell. Apparently he also wants to go twin-turbo on it.

My local cops have one in ghost car setup. It looks pretty stealthy and seems to have LED strips built into the grille. Would not mind rocking one of those in 10 years when they're sitting in the police auction lot.

I don't know if we have a rule against posting Top Gear youtube clips, and if we did, I wouldn't blame the rulemakers, however there should be an exception for this clip (sorry cant find an HD source) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9rBIKHJoaY The stig sets a laptime in a Ferrari and then the 3 stooges try to beat that time in a Noble, a Lambo and a Maclaren. I've always said that Lambo makes the finest musical instrument.
