Yeah that was a really bad call in retrospect.

I am really bad at guessing who goes into the HoF in general.

When I heard 6 were going in I thought one of the Sting/Big Daddy were going in. They both DROPPED from last year.

That Cabana WTF ep is a great listen. It's nice to hear so many of these concepts (like backstage politics) that we know as hardcore fans get translated so well in a world that normally wouldn't hear it.

Bryan's latest program with Lance had me really wishing he would give specific examples when he makes claims. He kept saying Hogan and Bischoff have been screwing up the writing. I'm sure that's true. Everyone knows about changing the 2011 Bound for Glory finish but what else? We can reason Lockdown and the latest BFG tournament had their fingerprints on it but it sounds like there was a lot more than those.

Konnan would have pressed him on it. They need more Konnan.

I've heard that Hogan is legitimately high on Austin Aries and was one of the guys who pushed for him to become TNA Champion. This is also likely why Aries is now booked in an angle involving his useless daughter.

He tried to argue that TUF's ratings were close to Bellator's by citing Bellator's peak ratings (which they normally do 2/3s of) and TUF's worst ratings. So, 220,000 and 700,000. He tried to say this made the situation like the old Monday Night Wars while Dave said no, it was more like Raw vs TNA and the ratings are nowhere close.

Bryan then said "But wait isn't 220,000 the same rating given the differences between MTV2 and FX?" and Dave tells him no, the ratings would be a .2 and a .6.

This one goes out to all the Legomaniacs!
The latest episode of the Art of Wrestling features two Melbourne-based wrestlers, Sway and Krackerjack. Sway is a former runway model and appeared on Australia's Next Top Model. If you see her today, that's a bit of a surprise, considering the number of tattoos and piercings she has!

Krackerjack is an absolute ratbag! Crowd favourite, genuine Ozzie larrikin, top bloke. Basically, he's been one of my favourites since I first saw him a few years ago.

The podcast also features Adam Pearce and was recorded live at the Spleen Bar in Melbourne a couple of weeks ago.

The stories Sway and Krackerjack tell are extremely interesting, both for Australian fans, and (I'm going to assume) for fan from around the world, giving a bit of an insight into the wrestling scene Down Under.

MLW Radio is worth checking out.
Konnan is great and Court has some a lot of good stories.

This week's stories include Terry Funk cutting a promo to keep from being arrested and Low-Ki getting a gun pulled on him during a show.

Dave nailed Politifact with an :iceburn: today. Shame he got the link wrong, but I fixed it.

Dave Meltzer posted:

There is a funny story at http://www.politifact.com/new-jersey/statements/2012/nov/22/paul-levesque/jersey-itinerary-both-events-wrestler-triple-h-say/ which was in reference to HHH saying that WrestleMania outdraws the Super Bowl when they run in the same building. The story lists the six buildings that have held both, using WWE and the Super Bowl media guide as the sources. Kind of funny since the non-worked numbers aren't that hard to come by. It's in the form of the Truth-O-Meter that they use for statements by politicians and they concluded that HHH was, in fact, telling the truth. Scary if they're this good at covering politicians.
