As tef said, stuff is free online so I don't exactly mind where you get it from.

No Starch seems to prefer if you get it from No Starch, and maybe they send me more money, but I'm not sure. Just pick whatever's convenient for you.

I don't agree with OOP being hard to teach, going by his step-by-step example

code:

the next step should be

C++ code:

and from there you can start to split that one big operation into smaller pieces

liskov substitution principle is hard to teach so don't teach that, teach that code and its data together make an object

also for a real-world example of objects in action, L1 cache could be thought of as taking a bunch of objects and bringing them closer to where the CPU is
