Level together with 1 or two other people, leave outlaw on and stay in channel 1. Leveling will take a little longer, but it's a lot more fun.

That SMAA injector stopped working for me a while ago, but if you've got a recent generation video card enabling FXAA override for Tera's program in your video driver control panel you get the best visual results for a minimal performance hit in my book. Tera's UE3 engine is extremely CPU-bound despite what you'd expect from the visual quality, that's why FPS drops so low so often even when it doesn't seem to make sense.

I've been trying this the past two days, and yeah the combat is kinda fun, but it gets old really fast, specially when the quest are so goddamn terrible. I know people always say that mmos are just "kill 10 wolves" but this is ridiculous! Is the instanced pve any good? I'm just looking for a game with good, solid dungeons. Like wow, only subscription-free!

Questing never really gets much better outside of story quests, but the dungeons are top notch and easily matching/outclassing wow. The only thing i'm missing compared to wow is voice acting, but considering how bad it can get in this game at times maybe its for the better.

Michael Hogan phoned in in one of the single worst paycheck jobs (as Gargamel von Samael) I've ever heard in any game, putrid for its lack of effort and understanding of human cadences even when taking the stilted nature of his awful "proportion" obsessed dialogue into account. I thought he was supposed to be an actor yo

Pretty sad day when you get outclassed by noname VA you were phoned in to replace. At least he did a better job then whoever voiced Fraya. :edit: The only well voiced character in the game that has more then one line is Thulsa, the VA puts in the effort all the other characters lack. His work as every bad guy and good guy in WoW really is something. New villain? Go grab the boss and make him do the angry voice.

Goes to show that if you're full health you can actually survive the stun combo, you just need to start blocking instead of jumping out like I did.

I'm looking into maybe giving this game another shot. I played it at launch and got a warrior up to lvl 54 on CH. I finally quit since most high level zones were almost ghost towns then. It was also a bitch to get into dungeons since it was hard to get a lancer and warrior were unable to queue as a tank. The OP says there is a goon group on MT. Is this still pretty active? I dont want to reroll a character and end up in another ghost town.

You don't need to reroll, server transfers are in (even from CH). We have 10-20 people online usually and the server is rather active overall.

So I just noticed when I was logging in, there is now a "remember username" checkbox. That saves me a bunch of laborious keystrokes, it was getting tiring to keep on typing my email.
