I disagree. The Nic Cage role will clearly be filled by Yaphet Kotto.

He shows up wearing a Tapout shirt that is clearly two sizes too small, and attempts to intimidate the alien ghosts into retreating by flexing and flexing and flexing and talking about bros and dudes.

They are unimpressed, and vaporize his skeleton with dark majicks.

This is loving sweet. Ties into the Japanese thing the film has going on but doesn't just look like comic book art.

There's about 5,000 comic book covers with Wolverine on them. If you make a movie poster and don't just swipe ideas from the good comic covers, well... I guess you're respecting the original artist, but it doesn't help to make a good poster.

Wait, really? First there's 2 "after Earth" movies this year, one with Will Smith and one with Tom Cruise, and now there's 2 "White House falls" movies this year too? Well I guess the order would technically be reversed, since Olympus Has Fallen came out first. But still. Is Hollywood really that hard up for ideas? :ughh:

This happens a lot with Hollywood, releasing a few movies with the same theme fairly close to each other. At least those two are fairly understandable, respectable themes. Remember a few years ago, when two movies about loving mall cops came out close to each other?

Seriously, how fun would that be? Market the whole thing as terrorists taking over the White House, then aliens and ghosts out of nowhere. Did that ever happen in an actual movie? I know about the vampires in From Dusk Till Dawn, and JJ Abrams' TV series Felicity introducing time travel in the series finale.

About a month ago I had a great experience with From Dusk Till Dawn because goons refused to spoil it for me. Let someone else have that, because having that movie not spoiled for you is awesome.

I kinda like the White house down poster. With the wifebeater, it's really John McClaneish. The pose is a pretty generic modern actiongame pose, but I like the color scheme.

The Wolverine on the other hand just screams the Dark Knight Rises posters with the rain and debris, I guess it is the new dark?
