Bullock is a woman in Hollywood in her 40's. It's a testament to her star power she is getting any work at all.

Rageaholic Monkey posted:Well that sure isn't what Melissa McCarthy actually looks like.... McCarthy has a pretty smile, which I guess they can't have her showing since she has to look MEAN but anyway, softening up her thick face to the point of making me think my contact lenses are out is almost insulting. Dressing her up like Vince Neil is silly too.

THE HEAT's teaser poster is so confusing, especially when the actual poster is behind glass and it's harder to see the actors clearly. Even moreso, the title isn't immediately obvious.

The thing that keeps getting me abut those poster is how awful those shades look. They feel like they were badly photoshopped in about fifty pixels too low.

She's doing the sassy look over the shades, c'mon son! And for all those jokes about The Internship being from 2005, The Heat looks like it's a DTV from 1998.

I was about to say, they're both dressed like grunge rockers for some reason. Also the Photoshopping is gloriously atrocious.

Paper Jam Dipper posted:All this heat just makes me want to watch Heat again. I saw This Is The End last night (free advanced screening), and when I was coming out of the theater, I saw a poster for The Heat. For a couple seconds, it didn't register to me that it was the upcoming Sandra Bullock/Melissa McCarthy flick. It just really made me want to see Heat in theaters, as I never got to during its theatrical run in the 90s

So now they just make generic parody movies where they just throw in whatever the gently caress they feel like parodying with no rhyme or reason to it? How long has this been going on? At least the Scary Movie series sticks to one genre. How is the Hunger Games even remotely connected to Avengers?
