In FL you aren't driving a truck unless it's got mud terrains on it.

And then come in to the shop and bitch and demand a precision balance and new shocks because they ride rough.

Thank god I'm not the only one. I see them on every other car, and thought it did say Slut Life for the longest time until I pulled up behind one and read it clearly.

Makes sense. If you have (even a part time) place in Florida and can claim residency there it makes sense to do so from a tax standpoint as well as a vehicle registration/(non)inspection standpoint compared to most states on the eastern seaboard.

Depends on the state you live in. I own a house in Florida but since I don't live there Connecticut would fine me $1000 for driving around on FL plates. If I did spend time at that house it would have to be for more than 6 months a year.

Pretty sure that's the imperial gallon mpg, so it's about 47mpg US. But yea, that's still very impressive.

I forgot imperial gallons even existed. Still, 47mpg is quite good.

this thread is becoming dangerously picture free, so here's a picture that popped up on my facebook this morning.

a '57 Volvo TP21 from the Swedish military... that is stock ride height and I believe stock tires. He is selling it for $10k in my state, well restored ones go for 40k. It's #621 of 720 made.

When I first saw it I assumed it was a heavy OTR truck hood and grille grafted onto a 50s passenger car. Nope, 100% stock.

That's just a plain Fullsize Bronco (F-150 Based). The Bronco II was Ranger Based.

I had an 87 Bronco II back in the mid-90s. The real Bronco is a much superior vehicle. Kinda like Mustang VS. Mustang II.

Now I know where that slight odor of desperation originated.

Watching tech inspection and someone had side sills just slightly too low. This guy was there with tin snips taking 1/8" off the bottom to get into compliance (you can see one of the pieces he just cut off to his left). What a terrible job to have.
