A quick way to post your times without hassling with pictures or replays is, if your time is a personal best, it will show up in the leaderboards. You can check the leaderboard times if you go to Free Play - Hot Lap then pick your car, go to the track and press "Y". If your time shows up there, just post your GamerTag and the position so I can find it, like I have below.

Infineon: 1:18.445, Ascari KZ1R (can and will run a mid-1:17 with this eventually)

That's not what gaslighting means you hyperbolic dipshit.
Forza 3 had an Ultimate Edition where the vanilla game and all the DLC came on the disk, right?

Does Forza 4 have an Ultimate Edition or the equivalent where you can buy the game and all the DLC in one package?

After the poo poo storm that happened last time. I doubt they'd want to. It came with the stig pack that had a couple cars in it, one notably being the LF-A. You couldn't buy this pack, you could only get it by buying the Ultimate Edition. After loving over everyone who didn't wait a year to buy Forza 3, they probably learned their lesson.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to score this? I'm having trouble figuring out what to do with the people who only did one of the tracks and not both. Also a way to tally up points per club?

I had a little think about it on the way into work this morning and came up with two suggestions, which would work depending on whether you wanted a finite season or not.

1. Finite Season
Imagine everybody starts with 200 or 300 points. For each place below the pole position, you take off the number of points equal to how far you were away from 1st place. So Person X comes 1st and then 3rd, Person Y comes 10th and then 8th. After two rounds, Person X has 198/200; Person Y has 184/200. Season ends when the first person reaches 0 points.

2. Endless Season
Score it as (reverse place]/total places)*(something large); so 1st place would be (16/16)*100 = 100pts; last place would be (1/16)*100=6.25pts. You could always multiply it by another percentage of 1 to get the figures closer.

Some thoughts....

Let's not make this more complicated than it needs to be. Do it one of two ways:

Ascending:
1st place = 1 point, 2nd = 2,..., Nth = n points. Person with lowest points wins.

Descending:
Either pick your favorite points system, or just make 1st = n points, Nth = 1 point; Person with most points wins. Formula 1 points system is fairly simple, but only gives points out to 8th place. You can maybe toss in a bonus point for being top of your club.

If we have a fluctuating number of drivers, Ascending or a fixed Descending points system would be best.

e: it probably would be best to stick with a global points system. Make the lists for each club, but don't give points for anything other than the main list of everyone.

It seems that past A class, a lot of the leaderboard cars are kind of a pain in the rear end to drive and are really only good for one great lap once in a while. It's probably why I never see them in S or R3 lobbies, especially the Lotus.

Man, when was the last time you watched F1? Been to 10th since they brought in the new guys.

Also, ascending is probably the best system due to not knowing how many people are going to join each week.

EDIT: On the leaderboard cars, or at least the lotus, and why you don't see them in lobbies: those things are quick as gently caress but are generally on a knife edge at the higher classes so they are great for going around a track by yourself with no pressure and no other cars but as soon as you have to actually start racing, they become a bit of a liability.

What I'm going to do is base it off 50 positions, since I don't think we will get more than that amount of drivers. But if we do it will be easy to go back and recalculate. I will give 50 points to P1, descending to one point for P50.

For club totals, ill just add the point amounts for the drivers in each club. So the more drivers per club the more points, even if they don't all finish top of the standings.
