glug posted:I had and asked that same question, then I noticed a 'white flag' marker on my map leading to him. Look for that. A section of your map around the flag should be colored differently, and the Wargrim will be wandering around in that area. He was bugged inside a wall and couldn't be hit by splash damage a couple days ago, and was apparently still missing yesterday as well, but spawned normally before then.

If you aren't checking the Daily achievement daily you are playing the game wrong. It's usually an easy 5-10 minutes work, for stuff you would most likely do anyways if you just knew to do it.

Played a few hours this week and it seems to have some potential, how decently priced is the $20 starter pack? Main thing seems to be unlocking two advanced suits and a few minor other things. How hard is it to come across Pilot Tokens?

The Sin system is still acting up and being laggy tonight. Twice I had all my experience disappear already. Fortunately, all I have to do is re-log and it seems to fix it for a while.

The 5 basic accord frames are already pretty fun but being able to start with those five PLUS a Mammoth and Bastion sounds better. Feel free to substitute Bastion for some other class, but Mammoth is never a wrong answer.

Finally got some decent playtime tonight for the first time for a few hours. I think this game engine is great, and it runs smooth as silk on high on my middling PC. The art directions and player animations are nice too. Not so much for the NPCs, but oh well. I was surprised at how good the AI is, my first ever science mission or whatever and enemy troops were taking cover, flanking, teaming up, etc. It was nice to see the game rewarded skill, kind of reminds me a bit of Defiance in that way. Couple questions, I did some thumpering, and killed some mission targets, and blew up some nodes, and I got what was (I thought )a decent amount of materials. But then I went to a digital printer and could only make consumables. Do I need to find blueprints or something to be able to craft gear/items? Do I need to do that at a Battle frame Garage and and not a printer? As you can tell I am a fresh newborn babe at this game, so a 2 minute summary on what to do to get started crafting even base level items would be super helpful. Last question, I noticed the SIN network hung on loading in some of the interfaces, I assume this is because of the massive open beta rush? Is there anything else wonky from server overload I should know about as afresh faced newb? Or will I not be affected enough to worry just yet?

After you refine them, go to the research tab and drill down to your battleframe. The entire first tier of gear is unlocked by research for 1k crystite. Any research beyond that to tier II, III, and IV each piece of equipment is individually researched. Tier I is better than stock. Garage if for equipping your frame, upgrading it's equipment capacity, applying warpaints, and repairing your equipment. It's had intermittent problems in the past but that's the beef right now. Sometimes you'll get random errors trying to open some interfaces, and a lot of the times typing /rui (reset user interface) will fix them, especially with the printer.

Just FYI, I'd avoid going into tornado pockets for the moment. I had about 200k of XP disappear on my Bastion, and a few other people had been saying the same had happened to them. It might show back up tomorrow or something (hoping so), but for the moment, I'd say it's at your own risk.

My GF and I can't log in at the same time (same network) if I log out she can log in, if she logs out I can log in but not both at the same time. Is this some kind of anti-multiboxer thing gone wild?

What a difference it makes when the SIN network actually works. I still haven't found a goon army to join up with, which one isn't full up? Also, has anyone started trying to make money on the market or whatever via crafting yet? Seems like the sort of thing a few determined goons could take control of. It is impossible to search for anything because you can't use spaces, it is impossible to sort on any criteria whatsoever, and it is so new that nothing has any settled upon value. It needs a few patch updates before it becomes a reliable source to obtain things.

If I login and start acting a fool it ain't me. I just turned over my account to the QA and combat teams so they can investigate this slow mammoth bullshit. They said they will use their tools to gather better data as to why its happening. hopefully they don't drop me off cliffs over and over till all my gear is broken.
