Gonna echo the love for Wonder Trade, I'm waiting for a friend to catch up to where I am, and just catching Skrelps and Shellders to hand out over Wonder Trade is a lot of fun  On a related note, is there a Trainer ID lottery somewhere? I have a question regarding the "1 Mega per team" rule. Specifically how does it work? Can you have any number of Mega Stones "equipped", but only activate one in each battle, or just 1 Mega Stone within your party?

So according to my brother, who has done some testing, the Ralts given to you in postgame comes with 30 and 31 in Special Attack and Speed IVs, respectively. Can anyone else confirm if this is correctly applied to everyone who gets one, or did he just get a lucky roll?

So Terminus cave is pretty lovely. Long rear end place filled with trash pokemon. Despite the variety shown in the rest of the game, this one area only has like 4 wild pokemon. It's long as hell so you end up seeing tons of them. And apparently, it isn't progress, because I just got told by some rear end in a top hat in the very back of the cave to leave because I'm not champ. WELL WHY THE gently caress DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THAT AT THE ENTRANCE THEN?!?!

Depends on what you want to use it for Scrafty has some really good Dragon Dance or Bulk Up sets, but generally needs to get some momentum through those or Moxie before he can really do anything. Pangoro starts strong with a beastly 130 Attack, high HP and acceptable defenses, but really isn't good at staying alive for a long time. He gets Parting Shot though, and that's pretty neat!

Speaking of good False Swipers, what about Aegislash? I really like this idea, because I already plan to have him a part of my team, so he can pull double duty as my Poke-catcher, and actually be used in real battles as well. I'm skipping over the previously mentioned Hawlucha because I already have a Fighter in Pancham and will have a Flyer in Charizard.

So this new Pokémon Global Link has pictures of all the Pokémon. So I did a thing where you can look up Pokémon ID number and Forme ID. Mega Evolutions count as a different Forme (so Charizard has formes 0,1,2), but they do not have different art, so Mega Charizard X looks like Charizard. Pokédex spoilers, do not look if you want future surprises for stuff we haven't found yet: There is no 719th Pokémon, if it existed it would be at that link. All of the current Mega Evolutions have been found. I ran a script to check every Pokemon that has a second form, Pokemon with "--" in front just have regular, non-Mega Evolution forms. Only Charizard and Mewtwo have two Mega Evolutions. So, I haven't played Pokemon since Gold and Silver. My wife is wanting to start playing, but is a completionist, so I'm assuming she will want to 'catch them all' (at least the ones that weren't for special events). I understand I'll need at least X and Y, but I'm assuming I'll need to go back to gen 5 (and maybe gen 4) to get the vast majority of Pokemon. Is that the case? In looking at the OP as long as I use gen 5 as an intermediary, I'll eventually be able to use the cloud thing to get gen 4 pokemon on X and Y copies.

So I"ve noticed some passersby on the PSS that look like old grandpas. Isn't it supposed to be a picture of your player character? Are there salon/boutique options to make you look like an old man? Side note: seeing Magikarp floppin' around in 3D was my "GOTY 2013" moment.

The problem with Aegislash is that he is a horrible false swiper for ditto farming. Ditto will copy him, and then false swipe is has no effect (normal -> ghost). Outside of ditto though, yea why not.

Very likely, you'll be able to get reasonably enough everything through trading with strangers online. You really shouldn't need to get all the old games to get all the Pokemon, though it might make it a lot easier to get certain Pokemon, like legendaries.

Not gonna get all conspiracy or "the leakers are all fake!" on you, but I'm not sure why you're expecting Nintendo to be absolutely incompetent. It wouldn't be too hard to manually adjust data that isn't revealed yet to prevent datamining like this, especially with something like an event 'mon. I doubt they'd go through that much effort for mega-evolutions though. e: You could unscamble them with an imagemagick script that cropped them into quadrants and then put it back together in the right order, wouldn't be too difficult.
