For the theatrical trailers of Tron Legacy, they made the castle look like it was on the Grid. Alice in Wonderland had the Queen of Heart's castle in one of them I think.

Trailer for Noah. Looks pretty similar to the earlier leaked one.

I feel like the trailer gives away too much of the plot.

I read someplace though that it's going to be a complete mess once Noa tries to lift off? I dunno though, I'm so into Darren Aronofsky, but a film where Russel Crowe of all people plays the patriarch, that's boring as poo poo.

Maybe Noah will get captured by the Romans and become a kickass Gladiator. That'd be some awesome poo poo.

After his work in films like 3:10 to Yuma, Romper Stomper, The Insider and LA Confidential, Russell Crowe at the very least deserves some benefit of the doubt before being criticised for an acting performance.

I have a formerly fundamentalist friend and he explained that it was 2 of each 'kind' of animal. Maybe with perfect DNA or something so they could procreate and split off into species? Like two 'deer' which become reindeer/moose/deer etc.

I wasn't paying very close attention though I definitely remember the 'kind' part being important.

Creationists have made up a term called "Baramin" which means everything from species to kingdom depending on the phase of the moon, position of Venus in relation to Mars, and whether it will help them "win" whatever argument they're having.

Yeah.

Still, Deniro acted the hell out of his sad/pathetic scenes and gave it more dignity than the rest of the movie deserved.

That's pretty much how SA goon Victor described it, with proto-bears splitting off into all the kinds we see today after Noah made landfall.

I wonder if they'll actually give Aurora (or whatever they're calling her) more than 15 minutes of screentime in the whole movie this time. Although obviously this one seems to be more about Maleficent than the fairies and the prince.

Apparently the thing about this movie is that they're giving Maleficent justification for what she does and isn't just doing it out of jealously or just to be evil.

Honestly I'm not interested in this at all. Some of the car stunts look pretty cool I guess but I'd rather just rewatch the last two Fast and Furious movies.

I can't tell if they didn't use dialog because they haven't finished the English version or because they don't want people to know what the film is actually about. Either way, "the visually stunning final masterpiece" route was probably the safest one to take.
