I remember the last time these got brought up someone found one that was made from the front-half of an Olds Toronado, wish I could find that picture. Pimp-est plane tug ever. E; gently caress why do I always end up with the snype.

The backward half-cars are specifically for seaplanes, so you can see what you're doing instead of trying to back up a trailer. Often made from Olds Toronados, because they have the front-wheel-drive big-V8 combination that makes the conversion a lot easier. I'd imagine with most 4wd trucks, the front half of the drivetrain/transfer case is somewhat less beefy that the back half. I can't find the pictures either. Edit: here's one picture.

Saw this in the parking lot at work I'm not too familiar with American cars from this era, wonder if anyone knows what it is. There was no badging on it anywhere but it was in incredible shape.

The first time I saw one in real life was when it was casually parallel parked between other cars in front of a post office in a small town in CT that I used to live in. The thing is TINY! I was amazed that such a rare beauty was driven about and left unattended. Few years later through a string of coincidences I was lucky to have been driven in a bunch of Z8s and my 507 sighting always made me appreciate them so much more.

On a flat burnished concrete floor you should be able to move that thing around with one hand on a cart like that. I can move 500-800 lb motors around on a lovely harbor freight 3-wheeled engine stand (tiny, crappy wheels) on a not-nearly-as-nice concrete slab one handed without effort.

The Veyron really does nothing for me. It's also like 7 years old at this point, right? Maybe the aesthetic made sense prior to the financial crisis. They Veyron was designed by engineers though essentially. And they're all styleless idiots. E: Lambo are pretty cool. They sent my buddy a bottle stop for Christmas.
