On the plus side I've done 1:20 worth of Bastion's "Setting Sail, Coming Home". And it's only taken me two hours!

Nice choice! I transcribed Build That Wall (separate files for guitar and vocals), and they play fine in multiple ABC programs but both crash the game.

I submitted a crash report, but I'd rather be playing the game than figuring out what bit is causing the it to crap out, so maybe I'll try to fix it later.

I figured as much  How do I make that upgrade? I have to get some Endomorphic Jelly which means I have to kill some boss somewhere. All prior bosses involved making an item to summon them, I don't see any such new summoning item so how do I get the boss?

What are you running your server on? I was running a windows server just fine, but I just migrated it to an Ubuntu server, running the 64bit server. I noticed after about 2 hours of play it was starting to lag to poo poo. I noticed it was taking up drat near all 6gb of my system memory. After a restart of the server everything is fine now. Might just be a wicked memory leak.

Ill make some assumptions. You are both playing on the same server, you are not lagging, but he is. And he is playing from outside your home network. If this is the case it could be your router. Could try restarting your router or applying a firmware upgrade if one is available.

Other than that, the server is a resource hog, but if that's the case you should both have lovely performance.

Craft a starmap upgrade from the metalworking station you crafted with the Molten Core you got off him.

Isn't everyone's first instinct after defeating a boss and getting an item in a game that is all progression via items (rather than levelling) to see, oh, I don't know, what you can make with that item? Maybe it's just me? v:shobon:v

The "metal" armor you make each tier (copper, silver, gold, etc.) can be upgraded into a racial armor if you have the materials. It's not necessary, but if you want to there's no reason not to since the next tier of generic armor no longer requires the previous tier to make (i.e. gold requiring silver set).

Just wanna say, thanks for pointing this out because my mind glossed over this patch change and while I got a good starting chunk of Iron, Copper and Coal had been comparatively scarce. Now I can just turn this full copper set to racial Iron and now worry about it.

You don't, yet. You use the dragon claw or w/e to make the starmap upgrade to get to Sector Delta, then you summon and kill its boss to get to X.

You know what's my favorite part about this game besides being Terraria 2.0 in Space? The soundtrack, my god is it ever beautiful, some of the tracks just bring tears of joy to my eyes. The music is reassuring, as if it's saying "So what if you're lost in space? You are free to explore the universe as you see fit!"

I've yet to find a musical instrument. I so want to play the Dr Who Theme while traveling through space.

Well yeah, but theres no way to know where to check or anything. It's not very intuitive to just scroll through stuff when you have multiple places to craft, not to mention the way progress works in this game is weird. You craft an item, then equip it, then "consume" it, and how was I supposed to figure out that that is the same thing you have to do to open up more map?

If your character crafted the starmap mk 2 before the patch, craft it again and then use it again. Then you can craft the lantern on a stick from the crafting table.

Food. Specifically, crafted food. Banana bread for example will give you 30 seconds of health regen along with a 15 second jump and speed boost. Regular bread heals a certain amount instantly.

If you don't need health right away, just bring an interrogation table with you and heal between fighting.

Ah, okay, thank you. I haven't really looked into the food crafting system since my starter planet had an eye forest, so I got a fuckton of Oculemons and haven't really worried about farming or anything this playthrough.
