Miami connection's funny and great in an unironic sense because it distills everything that was so wrong about that era into a time capsule. Frankly, we should have more foreigners direct movies about Americana, it's been a great track record so far with Birdemic, The Room, Troll 2, Miami Connection, any Godfrey Ho film etc

Where do you put the stick when you aren't making yourself look silly in public? Does it fold up?

Just google 'camera stick' and you'll find a plethora in the market. What's different with this one is that it's got a button on the handle that instructs the camera via bluetooth, whereas the traditional ones rely on a timer function on the camera. Although you can download an application to turn any bluetooth device like your handsfree set into a remote shutter, so again, why bother. Nenonen has a new favorite as of 20:52 on Dec 27, 2013 |

Nearly 20x funded in 32 days is still nothing to sneeze at. I'd be concerned that it's at the point where there are so many backers now they'll have to scale up production, which has caused a lot of projects like this to flounder.

Feeling unfree? Want more freedom and liberty? Well, back this project! http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/liberty-me--2 The whole thing is pictures, so... And of course they take Bitcoins (bitcoins not actually accepted, only USD, please exchange through our payment provider). And finally. Flexible founding, because gently caress You, Got Yours!

What does half of that even mean? What does "liberty" and "freedom" mean in that context. It's almost Freep-esque. What does it do, how does it help you become more free? It sounds like an advert for a crazy right wing Militia run by someone who owns a hipster coffee shop.

Forgot to mention... It was promoted by IGG in their newsletter. Also, I think it's more like an online crazy right wing militia.

Ever wanted a pinata in the shape of a Minecraft block? Luckily there's a kickstarter for that! And don't worry, this won't be a failure - with a funding goal of only $1, funding has already been met. Check out his video to see him destroy an "unrefined diamond" (blue egg pinata) with a golf putter.

The concept seems like a weird cross between a teabagger Facebook alternative [which already exists and has (had?) a hilarious goon contingent running loads of gimmick accounts] and iTunes. It's like seasteading, but on the internet. But that would be assuming that this isn't also just a huge scam, which is frankly a ludicrous idea.

Aren't projects with a $1 minimum against the ToS? If you have literally no overhead/developmental costs, it's just a storefront, which isn't allowed (as far as I know) on kickstarter. edit: I just watched the video and it looks like a papier mache piece of crap. I wouldn't accept that for free, much less pay $15 for it.
