In Space Station 13 you could attack someone with a pill from medbay and if they weren't expecting it and on the goddamn ball with the resist action, in half a second they would contract symptoms of epilepsy, fall down, black out, the chat would auto-slur their words, and there's no cure. They're hosed for the rest of the game. I thought it was hilarious but oh god did people get mad. They had plans. Plans that did not involve pissing themselves and flopping around like a fish. Probably plans to build a galaxy destroying plasma bomb. That game was nothing but griefing.

The delivery wasn't as funny either. The excited voice shouting "Crush a can for Jay Owen!" made me laugh more than the unenthused "hey, crush a can for jay Owen, he has leukemia. Sorry man, need a can."

So does it count if the developers grief you for being a shitlord with no decent ethics? Or for at least not thinking things through when looting in a zombie apocalypse? Because if so I have a story. Meaning it's even cheaper today due to the flash sale. So now's a good time to pick it up if you're interested. It's also been topping the sales charts on Steam, despite Rust being cheaper. I noticed it slowly climbing their list of best sellers this past week. It basically has everything Rust has and then some, sans the (somewhat lovely) sleeping mechanic and nudity. So i'm not surprised that people are starting to get into the thing. Mostly i'm impressed that it's only version 5 of an alpha and has this much content to it. It's ridiculous how much fun the game is when it comes to emergent dickery. The end game plans for development leading up to 1.0 are batshit crazy too. We're talking post apocalyptic cyborg raiders being a thing apparently to give an idea of it. The thing sounds like it's going to be an insane mix of Minecraft, DayZ, Fallout, and the Cataclysm Roguelike when it's done. Heck, it's already on the way there already. It's on sale for $29.99 until January 2nd, and there's another flash sale stacked on top of that for the next 8 hours that lowers that price to $23.44. That's probably as low as it's going to get for awhile. Someone mentioned in the thread for the game that the buy-in during the Kickstarter phase was like $25. So it makes sense that it won't get reduced in price beyond that until they hit beta.

He recently had a highlight of two guys handcuffing his char and stealing his blood in dayz sa. Towelie is a really popular streamer who is a jerk that poo poo straight talks stuff people like. Apparently it makes him really popular because people love him for it.

The Jay Owen thing's biggest flaw, as well as most stream sniping videos, is that they're extremely boring. Barring a few freakouts, most of the time it's just a socially awkward streamer repeating "wow these trolls/hackers are such [insult]" in a monotonous voice for several minutes straight and then quitting the game or shutting down the stream.

The best I've got involves Minecraft. There are quite a few nifty ways to grief players with those blocks. But my tale begins in xG's multimod server. I joined a town with a few of my former clan mates and they had the teleport port for their town if someone used the command to teleport/town spawn there set inside a kill box. No way to open the iron door from the inside as a redstone lever unleashed lava upon them and incinerated all of their stuff. That isn't the end of it. We found another player's settlement in the Towny server and he hadn't properly claimed all the land for it. So we trashed the unprotected buildings and stole everything from the chests while leaving signs proclaiming his love of unprotected anal sex and telling him to better claim his poo poo lest we do it again. We didn't leave our names there and when he came on and saw the damage, he called for an admin. The admin called had been in on it and had supplied us with the materials to make a giant penis statue in the settlement as well as for one of my accomplices to leave swastikas everywhere he could. To the admin's credit, he did his job properly and the poor sot didn't suspect a thing. To top it all off, after the player (which none of us really liked too much anyway) left, the moderator of our division went into creative and then surrounded the town with bedrock so he couldn't leave. However, it was too much of a strain on the server and it caused us all to get lagged out of the server. We never got punished for it and it really pissed the guy off.

His voice is amazing and he's got a pretty sweet mic setup that lets him yell without it clipping and sounding like poo poo. Long story short he's one of my favourite career griefers and it shows from the fact that even his victims seem to enjoy the situations he creates.
