Anyone with a podcast - Dave and Bryan were recently talking about Spike getting the rights for smackdown to be a lead-in for Bellator. Dave seemed to think this was in the realm of possibility. Assuming this happens, how does this potentially effect WWE, TNA and Bellator?

TNA is left without television, WWE is probably affected very little and Bellator has a MUCH stronger lead-in

In even fewer words: TNA dies, WWE gets rich, Bellator thrives.

Also on a recent show, they mentioned the possibility (though I don't believe it'll happen) that Jeff Jarrett will talk Toby Keith into funding a new company.

If that actually happens, and they somehow find a television platform, one can only hope that Jarrett has learned that just because Vince Russo treated him like a main eventer, it doesn't mean that Russo should be anywhere near a wrestling show's booking crew.

They shows are a hybrid now that they're live: they have open lines to begin with and then a guest to discuss a particular topic for the back half with (I think) calls/emails from listeners at the end

I have a question I'd be interested in hearing the Pisscast's opinion of. Only two wrestlers have ever gone bell to bell in the Rumble. Michaels has it as one of his many storied accomplishments, and then you have He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named. Has Benoit going the distance in the Rumble match made it so that they can't give anyone that again? If they let someone go the distance, would that call that guy the second ever to do it? To my mind, there's no good way to let someone do it without having to reference Benoit's win in 2004.
