I almost don't mind the widebody kit. Shame about the suspension though.

I can respect that someone is doing something in a culture completely unlike mine where maybe they're just trying to see what kind of statement they can make. I wouldn't drive it but it's not supposed to appeal to me anyways.

This is just magnificent! IPCRESS posted:Group B does not belong in this thread. Its me, Im the terrible retarded crowd at rallies. Since most of the time Im at a rally Im mostly likely working as a marshall so I have high visibility vest on, so of course I need to check that people are not in the dangerous zones of corners, by being there myself. Because you get better photo angles from there, you see! This really doesnt matter for the local and national rallies due to much relaxed rules about those. But I really enjoy it everytime Ive been working at the WRC Finland, due to the enforced 2m zone from the road. Though Im glad we arent in the same attitude as in US, I cant wrap my head around the idea to have only certain areas youre allowed to be in, instead of having certain areas of corners and jumps being offlimits. Because of liability I guess?

At that point they were still under 10 years old so it's the model I grew up around. Just like this but orange and LHD. I've been looking for a first/project car for my son and these are near the top of the list of candidates. They seem to be rare as hen's teeth though.

I understand that when I see really stupid looking lowered cars that they're most likely bagged, so that when the owner wants to actually turn the car on and drive they can raise it to a height where it's not completely useless on public roads. Is there some sort of similar technology for camber I don't know about? When this guy puts his car in drive will those wheels tilt back to normal enough so he has a contact patch large enough where he's not a danger to himself and others on the road?

If it was a swingarm rear end like in a pre-69 bug, yes it would untuck, but those cars are intentionally hosed like that so that they can run wide wheels legallly. Most countries state that the top of the tire must be inside the wheel well.

Most suspensions are designed to give more negative camber as they are compressed, so the camber probably does go closer to normal if that car's suspension is raised. Strut suspensions have very little camber change over their travel, double wishbones have more.

That 930 kitted Beetle wouldn't be too awful if you chopped the roof a few inches, imo. The El Caddino rules. IIRC that gif is from a Finnish rally in the 90s.

Certain things about the Cadamino strike me as being odd choices. I can understand the steering column from a 90's truck, since the first gen Escalade was a GMT400, but why a steering wheel from a Lumina APV?

It just doesn't jive with the vanity plate. Edit: unless it's a hand-me-down when her dad got an Aventador.
