Why is there so much dick in porn for straight guys? Why so much semen? I'm not at all interested in seeing ladies' excretions in porn, but straight dudes loving love seeing semen. Straight guys actually watch lesbian porn. Perhaps now you can figure out the crazy big secret of who is watching videos of semen.

Also 2, I am drunk. This does not happen often and means I must take the train to work because sometimes the Japanese police do sobriety tests after holidays (Monday was one) and any alcohol means prison. ever seen Japanese prison? Fish heads and communal bathing. I have no idea what Nippon Lady Prison is like and do not want to find out. Yay Malbec.

Buy some cheap scarves, fold them longwise until they're about the size of your head, and wrap them around your hair/head and tie the ends together. I'm growing my hair out after keeping it shaved for a while, and I can't stand my hair being all wild, so I've lived in scarves for the past ten months or so. Mines long enough to put into a tiny ponytail now Part of me wants to grow it long, and part of me wants to chop it short.

poopkitty posted:Totally. Weddings in general are a scam. So is Etsy. It's owned by self absorbed hipster pricks. She has a kid from a previous relationship. She's marrying an older guy who also has a kid with his ex-wife. They're both working stable jobs with decent incomes, they're living together, they want for nothing (in raw middle class terms), they have enough combined savings to put a down payment on a house, and he earns enough/their expenses are low enough that he wants her to quit her job so she can be a full time mother/housewife. ... But you better loving believe she wants a nice wedding where we all fawn over them like they're two young people at the dawn of their lives, who need all the help they can get. She wants the expensive dress and the expensive rings. She wants all the meaningless gestures that maybe would have meant something at some point, but they're effectively common law, so at this point it's all empty ritual. And of course our dad insists on paying for the wedding even though it's pointlessly expensive, devoid of meaning, and they could pay for it themselves. I guess my point is weddings are loving stupid money sinks and unless you're chaste & religious, the big church ceremony and blah blah blah is vapid and idiotic. I hate meaningless gestures and I really don't understand the desire to put on a $10,000+ affectation just to validate some reality you're already living. /en rant sorry

My cousin had a big fancy wedding in the fall. I couldn't go because I couldn't afford to, and also had a table booked at a convention. She apparently had a ridiculously long train and a fancy gown and the dinner was $50 per person. I don't want my wedding to be anything like that. It's going to be held at my grandparents farm in the yard. With the reception dinner in the quanzit that my cousin built there. I'll only have 60 to 70 people and my mom has insisted on handling all the food stuff. I appreciate my mom doing so much, but she's got a literal binder full of wedding ideas from the Internet. She wants to do cutesy things like have little notes at the table with 5 interesting things about the bride and 5 interesting things about the groom. She wants to set up a little play area for the kids, when she doesn't even know how many kids will be there. Probably only one or two. I'm pretty sure my mom is more enthusiastic about the wedding than I am.

Nessa posted:I don't want a ballgown. I just want a nice, ivory lace summer dress that costs a couple hundred dollars. The regular shops won't have those kinds of dresses for a few more months and bridal shops are just full of ugly, poofy dresses covered in crap. This is surprisingly hard to find in winter. I got married last January after deciding to just get it done in December, so we only had a month and a half to plan. The dress was hard -- I ended up with a $150 clearance dress from David's Bridal. Modcloth has some cute dresses that might fit your requirements, but if you can wait another month or two your options will expand.

Nessa posted:I don't want to shop at Modcloth due to things I've heard about their terrible service and the lovely material the dresses are made of. I really want to avoid shopping online at all if I can help it. I've bought a fair amount of stuff from Modcloth, and I'd say maybe 15% was poor-quality. I just sent back that 15% - Modcloth covers the return shipping and the shipping of the new item, if you do an exchange - and leave a warning in the reviews. The reviews are also a good place to look if you're trying to figure out who originally made the item. That and googling around for bloggers who have bought the item, sometimes they mention the brand. And their customer service has improved a ton over the past six months or so. Before, it was not-so-great, sometimes terrible, now it's awesome, sometimes a bit slow. The puns really get on my nerves, and it bothers me that they don't always share the name of the manufacturer, but they're the cheapest place to pick up some brands for US residents, and I have a weakness for mildly retro clothing. Don't buy any of their lingerie, though. It's all made by Rago, Rhonda Shear, Hanky Panky, Parfait by Affinitas, and another brand I can't remember right now, and they mark it up insanely. I know you said you want to avoid shopping online, but there are Etsy sellers who will use your exact measurements, and either offer X times you can send it back for adjustments included in the price, will let you send it back however many times for free, or will charge a small fee per sendback. It would be cheaper if you don't let on that it's for a wedding at all, especially your wedding. Just say you need a comfortable, flattering, whatever other adjectives you're looking for summer dress. It wouldn't be a lie. I personally can't imagine trying to find a formal-looking dress I like offline, nevermind a wedding dress. But I am picky.

I just went to look at their site to see if they had anything you might like, and unfortunately there was nothing special. However, they do carry... ... a wedding romper.
