That weather looks exactly how I imagine the weather to be everywhere in the UK all the time. I've never been there to prove myself wrong.

While you're not really wrong, I just found the picture on imgur. No pussy in this household.

I think that's an Eclipse in the background so it might have been taken over here.

This reminds me when my great uncle used to do ice racing. Defeated this guy: Timo Mäkinen in an ice racing, Mäkinen was driving the Mini with spiked tires while he was racing in an original Lotus made Seven S2. Tight corner, he can brake much more forcefully so Timo rearended the Lotus, after which they finished like gentlemen by coasting to finish with my great uncle in front. Kinda sad they sold the Lotus years later.

You should post some more pics of the build... especially the rear axle setup.

BlackMK4 posted:You should post some more pics of the build... especially the rear axle setup. It uses a 'spool' which seems to me is just a solid axle. Interestingly the fastest car ever around the nurburgring had the same setup.

Zlatan Imhobitch posted:It uses a 'spool' which seems to me is just a solid axle. That's a Winters quick change axle. The spool is what they're putting into the axle instead of the differential. You should also mention that they used as much of the ASCAR as they could, besides the engine. And they broke the driveshaft on the second burnout attempt of its short life. Edit: yes, it does sound glorious with the ITBs. They have a build thread an posted video. On mobile now so I don't have the link, sorry. Its on Driftwork's UK forum. It's an aluminum body on frame with no engine that costs approx $150,000. You do get an exhaust and wheels though!
