Soon as I had enough for copper armor though? BAM, oh NOW the 10+ sized copper deposits start showing up. EDIT: Case in point, one minute after sloooowly building up the 32 Diamond ore needed to make a pickaxe one ore two bits at a time. I went from taking forever to get 31 bits, and then jumped straight to 63 diamond ore ten minutes later. ...I still have only 14 Platinum though

Am I missing something with sector X, or is it always supposed to murder you horribly? I just kitted myself out in full aegisalt complete with weapon, and it'sstill a struggle to explore.

Yeah, I'm dumb and figured aegisalt was the final armor tier, but I checked a wiki and saw it goes up to like tier 10 so that would go some way towards explaining my confusuion.

Keep advancing your metallurgy techs.

Guys I can't make my ultra-beamaxe work anymore  I unpacked the assets and edited like I did last time, but I still have my 2x2 molasses-slow manipulator. I'm guessing it's because of the new patch, do I have to repack the assets or something?EDIT: Nevermind got it working, just made it as a mod

Is there a way to re roll the planet without losing all my gear? Everything here is obsidian. And a silver pick isn't fast enough. I've only just killed the penguins but it took a lot longer than it should have to get the resources for the beacon.

If there are any planets in the same orbit you only need one fuel to move, if not then cut down trees, each ten raw wood is one coal, if you are lucky and have a fairly tree covered planet getting 500 raw wood to get to a different planet shouldn't be too much trouble.

That was sudden. After getting so used to my temperature not dropping at night on the last two worlds I have been on, suddenly my temperature drops like a ROCK if I go past a certain depth. The background materials have not changed again, it's still rocky backgrounds with soft bricks and tiny houses. But If I go down ONE tile deeper than where I put that blue dirt you start freezing like a Popsicle. The blue dirt is the end of the Full Warmth. Soon as you reach where I put that row of bone blocks if dives into full freeze in steel armor. It takes 5 torches or a campfire to hit full warmth. Looks like I'm not going any deeper, because screw fighting all the wildlife that can take off 1/3 my health in steel armor wearing Snow Gear... Which would required going back up to my ship to get it anyway. Considering the end result of constant digging is lava (I've never actually bothered to dig that deep before) I'd have figured it would get warmer the farther I go. Oh well. Off to the Gamma sector!... Once I eat something. Edit: Also note to self, grab the persistent farmables mod. Hours of being deep in the earth between sitting in a chair while dealing with AFK stuff, not a single thing on my ship grew

I just started playing this and I'm able to fly to whatever planet I want willy-nilly even though I have zero fuel. Is this a bug or does fuel do other things?

However, I will offer a word of warning. You might find it extremely difficult to go back to standard pickaxes and drills once you start using this mod.

The weird thing was, I was able to move through it eventually by falling down into a massive cavern. By the time I landed I was back in a normal temperature area. Not sure if it was a layer or a ball of cold but you can get through it.

REFINERY WARNING: The bug where the refinery only gives you the value of two diamond ore per full diamond is STILL in game It gives 100 per Diamond ore, but only 200 per full diamond, which takes 4 ore instead of 2 like all the other bars. Glad I did a quick check after making my pickaxe now, instead of just turning it all into diamonds for use or refining later, ugh. Last Patch I made a small fix since I at least knew how to tweak recipe numbers but now I am a lost little baby when it comes to how to even BEGIN to start modding.

In fact, I beat all the bosses that way. I get a range weapon and attack from a tunnel I did under the surface of the planet. It hasn't failed me yet! Has the mod that turned the lantern on a stick into a super bright light been updated yet for the new release? I'd love to use it again

You can change the race still.

They really need to scale heal rates for the higher tier beds. When it's more efficient to kill myself to regain full health than to pull out the bed I have hotkeyed in my inventory, there is a problem. Also, bug with the Frigate mod, I had three captured mobs run into tesla spikes I placed on the floor of the cockpit room. The filled capture balls flew up and stuck in the section of the ship hull above the cockpit roof. Unreachable; I'm out three of the acid-spitting mobs from TL4 asteroid field. Kinda hard to farm those.

The Beamaxe worked for 9 blocks, then the animation of other blocks being mined wouldnt go away, and I couldn't mine anthing else. I'm also running this game on a real poo poo computer so that may be the real issue. I forgot about turning wood to coal, and luckily my planet still had a few trees left, and I ditched that semi lifeless rock for a cool system with 3 planets. On the first one now and an empty house on the right, and a mushroom dude living a little to the left. Found all kinds of ore and I've only been here a little while. I also want to say the music in this game is pretty awesome. Chill, yet adventurous. Sets a great mood.

I can't seem to land on Delta Pond 388 X b (TL 4 Volcanic). The jump never ends. Anyone else in Delta able to confirm this so I can file a bug report? e: also happens on Delta Pond 388 VII a (TL 4 Volcanic).
