Just holdin' out hope, man. I won't care in the long run, just one less toxic person thinking they can get away with all sorts of creepy poo poo just because they've got a lot of downloads, but I've used a lot of Kawa's code as reference to get my own stuff working so I was trying to be fair about this. In the meantime, tier2 and tier6 Mantizi armor is coming along nicely, though I'm not at home so I can't post pictures. I still can't get my NPC stuff to work but whatever, I'll fool around with that later. I'm about to be the first mod with all ten tiers of armor and all ten tiers of weapons, aren't I? Man I hope so, that would kick rear end.

Nah, I know it's not that big of a deal. Trust me, I'm not crusading for the purity of the community, I'm just trying to keep a decent mod author from being banned or having their mod removed (because of selfish reasons; I couldn't have figured half of my poo poo out without looking at someone else's code) As for my own mod, I'm super OCD about my work, so often times I'll sit in one place for hours just trying to finish something. If I step away for any reasonable length of time, I start seeing things I want to change and I just end up wasting hours at a time because I don't know how to be happy with what I have. I'm not personally looking into the Felins mod, but another moderator has already reached out to them about it. We'll see what comes of it, but I can't imagine we are going to allow a prostitute NPC on one of the mods on the site. Don't worry guys, and if you see creepy stuff you can really just report it and we'll look into it. I promise!

Also I kind of like the Felins mod on it's own merits, I always like having more race options. It'd be a shame to have it strapped onto a loving sex mod or something idiotic like we saw with Oblivion and Skyrim so often.

I mean, as weird and furry as it is, that part of the mod seems ultimately harmless. The dialog isn't even remotely explicit and they don't actually do anything, so I don't see why this is such a big deal. It's weird but as far as creepy, porny mods go, I feel like this doesn't even register.

Either way it's an issue where you click the report button and let the guys in charge of that stuff deal with it. Honestly the writing was in line with what you generally see in the rest of the game. Any "sex" is implied. It's not like she asks you get to get out your big ape dick and gently caress her. Furthermore it's a game with torture chambers, plant people who go on killing sprees, and various other actual horrible things that are portrayed in a cartoonish, non-serious fashion. This has been going on since the earliest days of game modding (Though NES romhacking efforts usually just named everyone BONERS and gave Mario a huge penis) and it's not going away anytime soon. My problem with these modders is when they expect inclusion in the larger community, or think this aspect of their modding needs to be attached to everything they do. Oblivion had a great example of this. One of the most ambitious race mods probably ever undertaken in Oblivion was a mod to add playable Xivilai to the game. Xivilai were some obscure off-shoot of Dremora, but they were monsters, not a race like Dremora so they weren't designed to function with weapons or armor pretty much at all. So a modder undertook this huge project to adapt the existing mesh, and threw in a female version of the race when one never existed previous. This probably required dozens, if not hundreds of hours of coding, modelling, texturing, and bugtesting. But for some reason Slof (the mod creator) insisted on giving the Xivilai a giant pierced dick that you couldn't get rid of. I think the mod creator eventually released a ken doll or underwear version of it or something, but it was done begrudgingly. It sucked, because the mod was really, really incredible. There's a lot of parallels here, because regardless of your feelings on anime catgirls, I don't think anybody can deny that this is a really impressive mod with a lot of hard work and talent poured into it. Man, Slof is such a great modder and an awful modder at the same time. High resolution textures! 100% original meshes! Non-removable gigantic pierced dicks! Even way back during the Morrowind days she was a huge creepo. The non-sex stuff was always fantastic, though.

Yeah, you're right about screenshots of the conversation. I disagree with it being a problem but I can see how someone would think it was not a great thing to do. Like you said though, nothing particularly damning in them, and the whole conversation was 4 posts long, but I went back and removed them. Can't do anything about posts that quoted me, though. Slof will always be one of my favorite modders ever, but not for the same reasons I love authors like HothTrooper44 or Jubal_Barca

I get where you dudes are coming from, RE: Creepy, but I'm personally on the "stop word sperging" side because in the end it's all just different ways you're using to express displeasure at something someone else is doing. The part that gets me isn't that people make weird freaky sex mods, it's that they implement it into the base version of whatever other mods they're making and don't provide a non-adult alternative. Like they can't even conceive of people wanting a alternate race or monster or model or whatever that doesn't have a prostitute version or a big floppy dick or whatever. Like they don't even understand that some people might want a neat alternate race without also being sexually attracted to it.
