It'd be nice to have a "clean" version that eschews that, is all.

I'm liking the Xan Union Cargo Corvette ship mod, but are there any other ship mods that are bigger, just out of curiosity? I can't be arsed to go around downloading random ship mods just to find out.

People have weird fetishes and obsessions and they like to insert them into games that allow players to customize their games to suit their personalities and preferences. There are 2 things to remember about this: • Sometimes these things will seem weird and scary to you, but you have to get over that because who cares. • Sometimes it will be genuinely disconcerting and propagate damaging stereotypes and behaviors, and you have to report that to people who have power to remove them because that's best. The end.

What I'm actually saying is that the inclusion of a relatively benign prostitute npc (especially in a western/space opera/samurai inspired environment) is not a big deal, and people being outraged about it mostly do so to demonstrate how "not creepy" they are. Yourself included. This does demonstrate that requiring mods on the community to have lax licenses on repackaging and modification would be beneficial, because then people are free to make modpacks with "offensive" content removed, which is actually a productive solution.

The big issue with the prostitution aspect of the mod, in my eyes, is that it is not mentioned anywhere on the page, there is no warning about potential borderline NSFW content, and it comes very close to violating the mod guidelines, if not actually violating them. When there is a rule put in place to govern the type of content in these mods, the least you could do is warn of potentially offensive content in the mod.

So do you whiners get upset about the prostitutes in Baldur's Gate, Fallout or Mass Effect? This is probably the most benign and inoffensive implementation of a whore in any game that has them and YOU CAN REMOVE IT YOURSELF if you want. This is why I was going to handle it myself, but another moderator is already dealing with it. I can go on about how creepy and stupid the 18+ mods are but y'know, it's whatever. People are going to be creepy and make hosed up mods on any video game that has open modding. The reason it was brought up though is because something that doesn't belong on the official mod repository is hidden in what seems like an a-ok race mod. The Starbound forums/mods are aimed to be PG-13. A prostitution mod just doesn't belong there.

No, they're a weather effect and a planet will either have them or it won't, there are plenty of planets out there that have no meteors. Try plopping down a flag to mark your beam in and circumnavigate a planet on foot before settling, it'll give you a chance to see if the planet has pain in the rear end weather, and you may find some handy features. Planets seem to be able to have more than one weather effect, actually. The planet I live on has both normal rain and the pretty sparkle rain. On one hand, there are so many cool things like this that I would love to try, but on the other hand, I HATE modding prerelease games that are still in testing. I basically stood away from Minecraft mods until this week when I discovered that the technic pack actually sets up a separate install for you and downloads everything with the click of a button. But I need a bigger ship and vanilla mining with a pick axe is boring as poo poo.

What race are these guys supposed to be? I thought some kind of skeleton race but the only skeleton race appears to be from a mod. I can't seem to find these guys on the wiki either: edit: Also can I just say how immensely disappointed I am that I can't take those tiny houses found in caves with me as decoration for my house?
