Not really what I meant, the utility type things (I think I've posted before about my dad's 3-wheel dumper truck) - I mean the "cruiser/chopper front end with two wheels at the back" type. I think Kevbarlas' dad has one.

I think Kevbarlas' dad has one. They are retarded and have no redeeming qualities whatsoever and are owned pretty much exclusively by wannabe badass bikers who are afraid of turning or falling over on an actual bike. Slow, can't turn, terrible braking. Towing capacity? Nah:

Slavvy posted:3. Why would anyone buy that instead of a quad? Simplicity? Quads didn't exist at the time. There were motorcycles. Honda said "hey maybe people need a trike" and made those. They didn't even have suspension at first, relying on the balloon tires. They were very popular and Honda discovered the market, but the instability caused the invention of the quad, and the market migrated over pretty quickly. Before quads as we know them today, the closest thing to a quad was the Odyssey, which was more of a dune buggy: https://www.google.com/search?hl=en...f+road&tbm=isch

InitialDave posted:Does anyone else find trikes (of the bike front end mated to a car rear axle type) to be a complete mystery as to the appeal of them? Bikes I get, two-in-the-front-one-in-the-back () 3-wheelers I get, but trikes? Not a clue. As was said above, the main disadvantage of a quad is the steering mechanism (and that they weren't invented). A 3 wheeler with two at the front and one at the back is basically the worst of both worlds because although there are advantages in stability and breaking, you still need the complex steering. Those Chinese monstrosities are built to be low cost hence steering is just via a tiller at the front.

Interesting choice naming the minivan Odyssey then.

Nah: Seems to me like a two-wheeler would ultimately be safer since it doesn't have the weird tipping point that a trike would have, and at least on a regular bike you have to learn to balance for you can do anything too nutty. Maybe not, idk

Rick Hendrick had a black widebody 560SEC (or maybe 500) AMG on display at one of his dealerships. Unfortunately I have no pictures. It had a manual transmission and a fire extinguisher under the seat. Why do people get so worried about their license plate showing on the internet? Do they cover it up when they drive to the grocery store as well? Because, you know, there's probably hundreds if not thousands of people who are gonna see your plate on any given day around town and some of them actually live near you and could just follow you home. But I guess the internet is scary.

At one point ITRs were the most stolen car by like a factor of 10. If there was any car worth hiding information about its location, it'd be that one.
