Like, we're told they do, but by the time you get to grad school if people even thought you cared about an exam they'd pinch your cheeks and then kick your rear end. So don't sweat it too much, have a beer and poo poo.

THE WOLF IS GIVING BIRTH Two of my results were very accurate; one was my mom's hometown and the other was DC, which is near where I grew up. And then the other was San Jose. I took a similar test a while back but I got all New York places for that one. I'm sad/annoyed right now because my bank cancelled my debit card after I bought the Sid Meier Humble Bundle since they said it was a compromised transaction. I looked in the Games forum, but this doesn't appear to have happened to anyone else. It's not a huge deal, but I was going to buy stuff from Asos except I can't now because I haven't gotten my new card yet. I hope that jacket I want will still be in stock. This is probably a sign that I should finally switch from Bank of America to a non-lovely bank or credit union.

I have seen with my own eyes people gifted marks so that the lecturer didn't have to fill out the paperwork and deal with the headache to fail them. Even if you did fail, which you almost certainly didn't... You probably won't fail.

universities in australia absolutely will not fail full-fee-paying or international students under any circumstances until they've got their money's worth out of them, because the former have to pay all their fees up-front (like in america) rather than getting the deferred debt, and the latter have to pay something like thrice what a local student pays. but they also don't want people graduating with degrees from their university that will damage their reputation. not a single fee-paying person failed in our first 2.5 years of the course - including one who just handed in mlp fanart for all his assignments and slept through classes, and another one who consistently handed in her projects half-done and a week late - but we're just about to go into our final year and suddenly something like two dozen people have been kicked out all at once

Crawdad . oh this is the best thing i worked for an environmental consulting company. we got most of our data through our clients since they could get it free from the government agency and we couldn't. so for this one major project we asked for fish data and crayfish data since crayfish are a big thing in england because there are invasives (signal crayfish) and those invasives carry crayfish plague. we get the fish data but not crayfish. we ask the client for crayfish data and he doesn't know that crayfish aren't fish, saying he already sent us fish data. so cute.

when i was a kid, my parents were having friends around for dinner and my stepfather decided two weeks in advance that he wanted to cook yabbies (crayfish). we had a dam, but it was quite some distance from the house. so we wouldn't have to be lugging yabby traps back and forth from dawn to dusk the day before the party, he found an old bath tub, filled it with water, and put it in the shade near the house. this was about a week before the party. every time we caught a yabby, we put it in the tub. it was a stinking hot summer so we threw some ice in every few hours, plus some lettuce for the yabbies to eat, and added fresh water every morning and afternoon to make up for the evaporation a few days after we set the tub up, i started to notice a funny smell. both my parents are very heavy smokers, so when i mentioned the smell they both said that i was imagining things and that it was just the normal stink of dam water. anyway, it wasn't that bad and when we threw lettuce in we could see yabbies come up to get it, so we assumed they were okay. anyway, we kept doing what we were doing; the days grew hotter and hotter; the smell slowly intensified; and finally it was the day before the party and it was time to put the yabbies in some buckets of ice needless to say, my stepfather upended the tub and a flood of seventy or eighty dead, rotten, stinking, disintegrating crustaceans (and three or four lucky survivors) washed across our lawn. the water had masked the smell but once they were out in the open, it was unbelievable. it took weeks for it to go away entirely. i don't remember what we ended up having for lunch that day; sausage sandwiches or something, idk

Crawdads are tasty but it's pretty laborious to eat a bunch of them. Which is too bad because they taste great.

I like the material it's just brain melting when condensed into an hour long exam haha Organic after cell bio? That's strange. My senior cell bio class was retarded. I had been working in a lab for years, on the molecular side of a immunomolecular lab, basically tranfecting genes all day. So I skipped most of my cell bio class, just showing up for tests. The final comes around, and the whole thing is basically "show how you would get from point A to point B using molecular techniques." I forget the exact wording, but it was something like "take this gene from E. coli and get it into a human CMV vector" and I was all, sweet, that's what I do everyday. So I basically wrote out my day, turned it in and walked out thinking I'd aced it. I got a big fat F on it, no comments. So I go see the professor and ask him what gives, I know what I wrote was right, why did I fail the final? He tells me, "I know you skipped most of this class and I know whose lab you work in. Yes, your answer is correct but it's not the way I taught it in this class. You didn't use the techniques I taught so you fail." Had to retake the class. And that's my story that absolutely nobody, including me, really cares about.
