Alright, Wiley, I'm genuinely interested now. Compared to the last couple of weeks worth of dailies, this is pretty good. 9 Chickweed Lane 2/23/2003 I don't get it, but the artwork is kind of nice. Brooke does the Solange strips pretty well. Zits What? Kevin & Kell Huh. That's pretty cool, Holbrook.

Mister Kingdom posted:Well, room temperature water. Warmer than the ice. Make a homemade de-icing solution. This is fairly easy, cheap and transportable so you can store it in your car, office or garage. There are 2 proper formulas that you can make out of supplies that you can easily find in your house. The first involves a 3:1 vinegar to water solution, which can be stored in a bottle to spray over your windshield. The other is a 2:1 rubbing alcohol to water solution, which can also be sprayed over your windshield. Make sure that the water is NEVER hot or even slightly warm, as this could crack your windshield.

Forgot I have comics to post on Saturdays now. Jim's Journal Tony has never been to a movie theater before, I guess. Johnny Hazard God drat it, Johnny. Krazy Kat Positively Orwellian, I'm telling you. Classic Mandrake Now there's a face you can trust! Dan Dare: Pilot of the Future I think I mentioned this before, but this is a good time for a reminder, anyway: "Flamer" is explicitly based on artist/creator Frank Hampson's son. vv

It used to be a gag-a-day strip set in high-school or college and they all hung out at Funky's pizza palace. Then Batuik got a bee in his bonnet and set out to prove that newspaper strips can handle the serious issues. He did a time-jump, and now each story-line handles some tragedy or illness in a really heavy-handed way. The closest we get to humour is grim puns, or the occasional Sunday strip dedicated to the golden-age of comics.
