More importantly...

I'm sure McKenzie will find a way to passive aggressively diss them and they will all leave without signing though.

I don't think Reggie's problem is getting players to sign. I think he's got an eye for talent but gets really unlucky with injuries. He's great at getting players to sign (he has a problem at valuing players terribly though)

Raiders just reek of the de facto 'last paycheck' team who are desperate to get anyone to come in. I remember the parade of declining players that came into Cincy every offseason a decade or so ago.

Has anyone said anything about Wilfork that wasn't true? No one ever said he was a lovely player. But he's 300+ pounds, turning 33, and he's coming off an ACL tear, which is difficult to come back from even when you're young and not a big fat dude. The Patriots asked him to restructure and he said no, and as good as he's been he's no longer worth $11 million.

I expect some team somewhere in need of an NT will back a dump truck full of cash up to his house though.

Man it will emotionally be tough if he goes to the Broncos.

Correct me if I am wrong but the last year the cap hit from the signing bonus is the same whether you cut a player or not. He has no reason to resign with the pats before seeing his value on the market. He still probably winds up there because they need a NT badly.

I would much rather be trying to retain Ginn than LaFell.

Indy. I don't see it though, Carolina can offer more money, a bigger role in the offense, and it's his hometown.

Thats a nice Game 7 you have there. Would be a shame if somebody nailed it down.
Ex-Texan LB Darryl Sharpton signs with Washington on 1 year deal worth up to $2m. He was injured a lot but was an okay ILB when healthy.

Sharpton's just a body, really. Doesn't react all that well, doesn't shed blockers, isn't the best tackler, is a liability in coverage. Of the LBs that left, it's Joe Mays I would have preferred to keep, but neither one of them were really worth getting into any kind of bidding war for. Not that there's anyone better waiting to step up either... It really says something that Sharpton and Mays were the best options once Cushing went down
