You mean the hair helmets?

I have a general dislike for the pairing of Sandler and Barrymore as some sort of legendary on-screen couple. The Wedding Singer was an alright film, but I didn't walk away thinking that this was a romantic combo I had to watch another ten times.

Oh yeah :downs: I'm young, so that actress looks older to me kinda. Still, I imagine he'd get swirlies for having hair that matches his sister's.

It's not just a major bummer, it's loving retarded. If the studio picks a poo poo poster - and God, do we know they do - the visual design companies are forced to destroy anything that might show they're capable of better work.

That's why I don't get why they all agree to destroying their stuff. Make it time-delayed, like til the dvd comes out or something, but by then who cares if someone likes your design and copies you? You've made 95% of the profit you ever will from the movie. And if they copy you too closely you can sue em!

I love these cheesy old movie posters from the 80s that totally isn't ripping off an homage to that scene in Predator which came out two years earlier.

You're not wrong. It was the international name of the movie (and the name I saw it under), the sport and players being named several times.

The official one just felt like some suit said "not enough flare and motion blur!"

It ruins the terrifying nature of the solitude of the situation.

While I like that she's reaching for the Earth in the first one, I think the final poster works better with her getting thrown away from home, instead of being dangled above it. She's not being held up by anything, she's unable to get down.

I think is also fits the whole disorientation thing to have Earth on the side instead of "down".

Oh, are we hurting her feelings? Who cares you big loving baby! If people do not like the way that actress looks they are perfectly in the OK to say whatever. Her eyes are wider than normal and it throws people off. Maybe she does look like an alien.
