Maybe Terminus will somehow tie into those headless bodies we saw awhile back with their sins written on them, like I could see it turning out to be some violently "moral" cult. Though I guess those were found pretty far away from it.

But now with everybody missing things I'm worried that there's already been payoff for those and I forgot.

That would be way cooler than cannibals. I'd way prefer Beth not be dead, and instead held hostage by crazy cult of morality, with a sign over her neck that says something like "thief" for stealing the funeral home's food. There have been these weird signs all over the place and it would be a shame if they were just a lame throw away prop.

So either Terminus is a cannibalistic shithole that makes Rick and the Bandits team up, or Terminus is alright place that Rick and the Bandits will screw over when they enter conflict. Everyone should rewatch Claimed after this episode. It shows Len being a dick and hints of Joe's character.

I hope the Bandits won't get wiped so soon, but another season with them as the main antagonist would be too much. Plus it will set up Daryl's death nicely. I've seen a couple interviews where his popularity armor is brought up which I'm sure is misdirection by the cast members.

Which episode shows Glenn being the super knowledgable guy about the disease? I watched the S1 finale and he barely had any reaction shots.

Glenn was there at the CDC when Jenner was telling everyone about the virus and how it operates. Unless Doctor Mullet knows more, that makes Rick's group the most knowledgeable about it by far.

Considering they showed him alive in this past episode, no. He did not die. Well he did not psychically die. He may be "spiritually" dead which is another thing all together in this show.

Like how Tara was basically a zombie the entire episode.

They all relax, chill out, have hot showers etc, until Rick and the Bandit guy catch eysight of each other.
Then the shoot out that happens kills everyone apart from the main crew.

Last scene is Carl angry screaming at Rick for loving it all up.

You don't have to leave Georgia to film as if they're in other states. Its not a definite for sure, but with how late they introduced Abraham, Eugene, and Rosita and the obvious DC plot-line they're setting up, it seems like DC is going to part of season 5. Also from what I've heard there is a DC plot-line in the comics, which the show loves to base their story-lines off of.

Thinking back to the episode where they encounter the bandits, it's interesting to imagine what might have happened if they had encountered Rick before he killed their guy. We were obviously led to believe they were an immediate threat, but from their perspective they didn't do anything against him.

Yeah, my town is a stand-in for virtually every place in the world. The forest behind my place is the Chinese island in Arrow, and the nearby mall is used monthly by Once Upon a Time. And it's not like the eastern seaboard changes much geographically as you go north.

I've always kind of wondered about that. Is Vancouver just filled with nothing but b-list sci fi and fantasy actors and tv crew? Is it like "Genre Hollywood North" with thousands of would be actors and artists with slight insecurity issues flocking there to make their not quite Hollywood dreams come true?

It's probably cheap and has lots of tax breaks, it's not terrible there, and you can sell the spookiness in a PNW climate pretty well (thinking right now about Supernatural at least).

No, I get why the shows and movies film there but I was more wondering how they affect Vancouver. You'd think after awhile so many shows filming there at the same time would end up building a community around itself and affecting the overall city's makeup and feel. Like are all the extras and bit actors flown in from Hollywood? Are they local kids having a little fun? Or is the city filled with actors looking for their big breaks? Or is there a community of hotels and homes catering to the stars or do they just make do with what's there?

Pretty much. Most of my friends worked as extras when we were younger. I have had no fewer than 20 tv/movie shoots at my various work and living locations over the years. Film trucks are always around, especially on the north shore. Ben Affleck and Jen Garner lived beside me while she was filming Elektra. Lions Gate Studios started here and there's still a big studio here under a different name pumping out CW shows. And we're a lot smaller than LA so they stick out a lot more.

We get big movies too so the big stars come out. Especially now that the exchange rate is plummeting again. Toronto/Montreal tried to steal our poo poo with tax breaks but the geographical advantage and experienced crews led to a record year last year. Being able to film outside in winter probably helps too.

If the port truck strike goes on much longer the only economy we'll have left in my part of town is lovely American sci-fi.
