I have no idea what they were going for with those posters, though. Like, why are they explicitly making it a photo shoot?

The movies are sold on the premise of getting to "hang out" with beloved action stars (and Kelsey Grammer) for a couple of hours. You certainly can't sell them as entertaining movies in their own right, particularly after the first two. So, pictures of the stars not taking themselves too seriously.

I never saw the 1st one, but there was nothing bad about the 2nd one from what I remember. It was an average action movie, its just seems like a huge let down with all those fun actors starring in it because it should've been better.

I thought Van Damme was pretty incredible in it, like a walking cartoon. "The goat... it is the pet of the devil. They say!"

edit: Also playing a villain named Vilain.

Throw in a hilarious misunderstanding and I'm sold.

Due to a hilarious mixup, Terry Crews' character becomes amorously infatuated with Crane, and propositions him in more and more elaborate ways for a gay dalliance.

Wesley Snipes won't open his eyes on-camera, so they have to CG them in.

Hey guys did you figure out how to film a guy kicking another guy for this one? I'm no expert or anything but but I don't think the answer is "aim the camera at his head and torso and shake it around a bit". When do I get my paycheck again?

That's not entirely fair. These posters aren't (just) bad photoshops. The celebrities look different because the lighting is very unconventional. They're lit like in Chuck Close's photography.

With all the possible creative ways you could use the concept of two actors playing older/younger versions of the same character, I'd still consider it a really boring poster.

Compared to the weird floating head poo poo they did before this is a slam dunk, even with the actor credit.
