I never saw the 1st one, but there was nothing bad about the 2nd one from what I remember. It was an average action movie, its just seems like a huge let down with all those fun actors starring in it because it should've been better.

The celebrities look different because the lighting is very unconventional. They're lit like in Chuck Close's photography.
