Stay away from the Ha'apax though, that thing is a piece of poo poo. For PVP you'd probably want a lockbox cruiser like the Monbosh or the Galor rather than a warbird.

Reviewing is always disabled following a season launch, as new changes usually gently caress up old foundry missions pretty bad and they don't want the authors having their ratings slammed until they can go back and fix things.

You're likely better off with the Scimitar due to it being one of the best ships in the game for a variety of situations, but if you did want to try a D'Deridex because it looks awesome you need to make sure you're space rich enough to kit out a proper A2B build - the Dex is really versatile due to it's boff layout but it is worse than useless without any cooldown reduction due to its' whale-like nature and lack of redundant power options. Auxbatt is the only way to fly it. And for the love of gently caress, don't try to fly a Ha'apax.

It's nearly a copy/paste of the Jem'Hadar Dreadnought Carrier's layout, minus the fighters, that trades health for speed and maneuverability. I had to change very little when transferring over to the JHDC, mostly just replacing Eject Warp Plasma.

During Romulan beta it had the perfect cruiser layout and could use the Haakona unique console to seperate it into a support ship and a destroyer, with you choosing which one you piloted while the other one gave support. Flying that thing in destroyer mode with a support ship providing heals and debuffs would have been absolutely fantastic and I was really looking forward to that thing going live. Cryptic, of course, changed the boff layout to the same sub-par garbage most cruisers get stuck with, because god forbid a cruiser do anything except stack engineering tank abilities. It went from a new kind of ship with fantastic possibilites to cookie-cutter garbage cruiser build but this time it's got battlecloak and singularity powers!!!1 It's got a lovely boff layout and not even the zen-store console can save it. Avoid it.

Coming back to this after having tried it out briefly when it was first released. Still feels a bit janky, the art direction is terrible, and the story lines are so terribly fanwanky, but apparently overall the game is good now? Started a new Romulan character, why is my first ship a 200 year old TOS era thing?? Requesting access to the goon channel and the wesley guide Wiki name is subyng In game name is Subyng I don't know what the @ handle is.
