Acid Bath was my first thought too, but there's no way on Earth we as a species are that lucky. The guitar tone isn't too Electric Wizard-y to me, though. Probably should have put this in the stoner thread, thinking about it.

I really quite enjoy that one and Satan Rising to be honest, pretty catchy.

Random customer at work* recommended I check out a band called Wolfhammer. So I look them up on Metal Archives and they're a French NSBM band (what) that released a seven-minute, four-track demo in 2001 and split up. I think I may have the wrong band, because 1) who the gently caress recommends NSBM to a stranger and 2) I swear he was talking about American black metal when he mentioned the name Wolfhammer. Also you'd think that a band only having released literally seven minutes of music ever would be something you'd mention. * We were talking about metal, he'd didn't just go "hey, dude, check out Wolfhammer" out of the loving blue. I gave no indication that I was interested in NSBM and he gave no indication that it was NSBM.

Seriously go see Anvil sometime if you can. It's a loving tragedy that these guys aren't playing for thousands of people every night considering their history. Robb Reiner is a madman, the best drummer I've seen aside from Gene Hoglan. found this vid someone next to me took last night - http://tinypic.com/r/2eyynvq/8

It's not really too surprising when you look at how their logo changed over the years. And one of the albums (I think its the re-release of Goat Horns, but I can't remember) has a swastika made of AK-47s in the booklet. Oh and also they're Ukrainian, which really should have tipped you off right away.
